Guys, guys..call Open Labs! They've prolly got all the specs - drivers for your plugs and software. These boards have a lot of sounds, but it's really unique in it's ability to CLONE sounds from external sound sources. One pro studio session in a place where a fender Rhodes, wurlitzer, b3 Hammond, and grand piano..you could get quite an amazing sample library :)

Can i just use the sounds from Miko and trigger it on a separate system running Pro Tools? Looking around for a midi patch so im able to play it on PT.

@JhayCMusic yea, u can trigger sounds thru midi or u could just install pro tools directly on the miko or neko and hookup your mbox or digi rack or whatever u have

How long does it take to clone an entire keyboard?

i havent cloned one yet but it depends on how many sounds the board has....it will tell u how many gigs of space its gonna take and how much time before u hit tha start button....u can hit start and walk away....just come back in tha time it says it should be done

Windows XP and a Presonus firebox.... didaster waiting to happen. the convertors and preamps in the Audio interface are mediocre at best. What happens if the keyboard, audio interface,or screen stop working?

ive had mine a year....no problems in a year...i'll let u kno what i end up doin if one of those stop working....and i got mine hooked to an external monitor....i kno touch screens go out but on the other end i had a triton studio since i was in tha 11th grade and im 23 years old now and that touch screen still works fine....i guess its how rough people use they equipment

yea i'm in naptown and i need an miko or neko. I got a yamaha MO8 and I HATE it. It doesn't save doesn't upgrade. I only use it for the weighted keys. I am 16 and tryin' to get a job to pay for one.

it comes wit cubase le.....but you can install any windows based software....its a Quad Core Intel PC with windows xp....so you can put mixcraft right on the board....you dont have to hook it to a computer because it is a computer

lol...i wish i could tell u....but everytime i cut this thing on i find new sounds....its like 35,000 presets....i be gettin lost....but it got a ton of drums for every genre....it got a vsti on there that is live drums....and the sick thing is that it actually sounds like real drums...u can hit tha same key and it makes a different tone of tha drum like u actually hittin it

Yeah man whats Up! You already know when people got something new rather than reading the book on it. They rather ask other people that own the machine, I finally threw in the towel and ordered the Neko. I look forward on selling my Fantom and Motif but the Mpc hell to the no! I'm a little skeptical because I don't think the computer on board this keyboard is outpacing my Computer which is a Apple, and I Heard Pcs in protools just don't mix...

i use to have the mbox, protools worked fine for me...idk, but tha board is da truth...i aint had no issue wit it yet and i had it almost a year

I use a lot of Plug Ins such as Autotune, Reason,waves software etc.. Plus those nerd engineers say they often work better Like Husband and wife when it comes to Musical engineering.. But some say its best to have both..But I take the "wait and see" approach to this thing..

yea, anything u can put on windows xp you can put on the miko and the neko. its windows based. so u can throw all ya software on there and and record songs and everything on there too
