Wouldn't England have been better taking off Heskey with Gerrard in behind Rooney as sole striker. Instead of pushing Gerrard out wide in favour of Lampard. Still a lack of technical ability on the ball with this side though. Not suited for slow paced tactical WC/EC matches...

jajajaj how much i remember this match, i was at southafrica, at melrose arch eating and there was a big crowd that hated english fans.
Everyone was cheering for Algeria jajajajaja. Some argentinians supporters were singing chants to some english "hooligans" at melrose.
