  • You do not need to replace the chip as the video suggests. The computer MAY give you an error but just click it off and it'll be fine. And you can use ANY tape to seal the hole. You don't need to use their "special" sealer (which I can see is just a round sticker).

  • I'm not sure why all these negatives about refilling a toner cartridge. I have done this MANY times myself and it works fine. Indeed, you do need to empty the waste hopper but I do it every other refill and I've NOT had any problems. Unless you need to print crisp perfect documents every time, then go right ahead and buy a new toner every time. But for me, for general home office use, this works great and the savings are enormous! I get mines refills for ~$5 each.

  • this is all well and good, but what happens when the drum wears out, or the blade gets a build up of toner preventing the magnetic roller inside receiving a good coating of toner.. also the fact that the waste section in the developer side of the cartridge will need to be emptied otherwise after the original first cycle and about half of the refill cycle the toner will compress so much in the waste section that it will overflow causing it to wrap back round the drum and line down the page.

  • The toner will leak. The waste is not removed.

if you are refilling into the introductory cartridge, it will leak even faster.

  • 2 words "bull shit"

  • This does not tell you anything about how to empty waste toner. This means you are going to get leaking and spilling problem when waste hopper is full. This can be after printing first few pages or few hundred pages. By then you have no option but to throw away the toner cartridge. Refilling works only for ink cartridges. It DOES NOT work for toner cartridges. Atleast not work as they claim. Waste of time and money. Just but completely remanufactured toner from one of online stores.

  • @rbolivar01 You are correct, inkjets are for "refilling", Toner cartridges are for "rebuilding" meaning that properly done, You will totally disassemble the cartridge, vaccum excess "waste" toner, clean , inspect and replace worn parts with new... making yor cartridge almost new. YOU CANNOT simply drill a hole a pour toner in and expect good results. BUT Laser Toner cartridges are way more reliable providing they are done properly. Period. And you dont need any online store to do it for you.

  • @rbolivar01 So you can empty the waste the same way. Make a hole and dump it out, being careful not to breathe the dust in case it's carcinogenic. watch?v=d7oFSZZH3Bk

  • What about the waste toner? How do you clean the wastre toner? When the waste toner bin is full, there will be toner spill. That's why toner remanufacturing is sometimes not well seen. Let someone who knows do the job.

  • what's the name of the key that's make a hole in a toner cartrigde? Thanks a lot!!!

  • que tipo de polvo se usa en el video?
