@Milkypotato Hell no, no clean vocals. That's a big problem with many metal band these days, if the screaming vocals work, why ruin it? Especially when I find a new band and like, usually the liking ends into the chorus when some guy who sounds like a girl starts to "sing" with some massive amount of autotune..

@AVEVofficial I've talked to him about the singing and he says during the recording of Controller he couldn't sing at all, and it's almost all studio tricks, but he's gotten better as time goes on and he's been singing live.

i think one part i like about solace so much is that karl isn't rushing anything; he is giving it the extra thought and care I wish most new bands would do with their own material. Every part of this song is an awesome listen with so many layers that you can pick out as it progresses. This project totally seems like a labor of love and it rings through in every video or sound clip he releases. Can't wait to hear more.

I really do dig the music but as a believer in Christ, I think the lyrics fall short of being well researched or even relevant to such a dichotomous argument as is the Gospel.

Two scriptures highlight arguments for these vocals:

Regarding the sins of a father - Ezekiel 18:20

Regarding the face of God - John 14:8-11

Don't get me wrong, I thought the music fucking rocked, but I hate when things aren't well researched or go the length to provide a stable argument for either side such as theology.

This was pretty good man. Didn't expect any better, didn't expect any less. The chord progression at 2:08 to 2:32 was really nice.
