  • Jerry you should be MY uncle

  • I saw this at the movies when I was a kid........Its been a while...

  • Ah, Zherrie Lewis! C'est magnifique!!

  • wonderful begining, great :-))

  • Terrible, terrible movie. The opening montage is fast-paced and funnier than anything that follows -- they should have released that as a short subject and scrapped the rest of the movie.

  • Not only is Jerry the greatest comic actor of all time (with the possible exception of Charlie Chaplin), he is one of the greatest dramatic actors as well.

  • @MrHooLee He demonstrated outstanding dramatic skill in 'The King of Comedy', which, in my most humble opinion, had a skilled, and I do mean skilled, trifecta of craftspeople, Robert DeNiro, Jerry Lewis, and Martin Scorcese.

  • So sad to see the day the clown cried.

  • This is Mr.Lewis' second film for Fox..and his comeback movie comedy.

All I Can say is..this is no welcomed comeback.

  • @143AC "Hardly Working" was the first JL movie for Fox and "The King of Comedy" was the second and last JL film for Fox.

  • Two Star Trek veterans in one scene.

  • Thanks for posting. I've wanted to see this for a long time, but was never able to find it.

  • My response to the scene at 5:55 when the Circus owner tells his people that the Bank is shutting them down:

A Communist friend of mine (since High School) said that we as a people should take every Banker and Loan Officer in the USA and publicly execute them as "enemies and parasites of mankind"

It seems excessive to me but he does have a point.....Bankers are rather an Evil subclass of people that prey on the weaknesses of their fellow humans.

    But I could be wrong.

  • Jews are so talented......

  • Love the fonts used for the opening credits. I keep waiting for Penny Marshall to voice over: "Laverne and Shirley is taped before a live studio audience."

  • Great film. Thank you.
