Lmao that "Yo mama" was so unexpected and hilarious. I just bought this season (season 6) for my mom on DVD. She loves the jeffersons. Only 6 bucks lol. :)
Oh man, this brings back so many great memories. It's a damned shame that a) networks could care less about sitcoms anymore, b) networks don't have the money to pay for properly scripted and produced long-term shows that build on their audience the way The Jeffersons or All In The Family did and c) networks are scared shitless about being all PC (or not). I say that because, those two shows, and countless others like them, would be HUGE hits today. Grow some balls TV execs!
brings up memories of Vanilla Ice, Mark(Marky Mark)Wallberg, and a shit load of other white posers who put on a lame ass fake black accent. watch old interveiws of them back then and now, it's hilarious how they tried so hard to "talk" like the brothers, LMAO !!!
Man this was some of the funniest comedy I have seen in a long time. Franklin Cover and Sherman Hemsley were hilarious. Oh, the guy on the couch is Dick Anthony Williams, a fantastic actor. He was Pretty Tony in The Mack.
@wetbobo agreed. How can u replace this with freakin "jersey shore" and "teen mom" and "housewives from oc or new york or where the fucc ever"?
