I love the tempts and always will. But his group is the weakest. I have gone to see them several times. The lead singer they have now has an excellent voice, but I count him the be the least likely to be a tempt. I know Otis makes the selection but there are better singer in the tempts mode.

Theo People was the guy Otis should have kept Otis is so controling. G.C. Cameron was ok but left for solo career, we have not herd from him since. Barriett Strong was a good fit but dumped for G.C.

Kendricks recorded one last hit single with the Temptations, "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)"; by the time the record reached #1 on the US pop charts in April 1971, Eddie Kendricks had quit The Temptations in May 1971 and signed a solo deal with Motown's ,

 The Temptations continued with their string hits (one of which, "Superstar (Remember How You Got Where You Are)", was written as a jab towards Kendricks and Ruffin)

Kendrick died October 1992 of lung cancer in age of 52
