2009 Ford Flex

i see alot of people giving good and bad comments about the ford flex, but everyone's liking is diferent some like this ford flex and others dont.. this car is less boxier then the scion xb and even less boxier than the nissan cube, and true it looks like a range rover some like them some dont. i like this car, im gonna buy one of these next year. i dont like mini vans so the ford flex is perfect for my growing family.

Ford benefitted the most from that deal. Now they only have 10% in the company, so they can keep leaching the engineering for their "suddenly successful" lineup. I know the style of this car is a bit controversial, but i for one think this boldly styled crossover is beautiful, inside and out. This is one of the few boxier type vehicles i would deem "cool".

My wife and I had just bought this truck and this is the most comfortable vehicle i have ever been in, this truck is great for 7 person families, it has so much leg room and is very roomy, ive never been in a car where the seats heat up in about 3-minutes, this is the perfect truck for long road trips or for any occasion,

THe "japs" have just made thier standard redesign/refresh cycle 3 or 4 years instead of Ford's 7 years. The '09 F series isn't just sheet metal change. It was a complete overhaul of the truck, down to the chassis, suspension, and drive train.

I know this about the xb. it has about 50K miles on it and still runs as strong as it did the day Ibought it. I agree it is no rocket, but it gets 30+mpg, handles like a go cart, and almost 4 years after I paid 14K for it, it has a resale of about 9K.Not bad at all. As far as comparing the Xb to flex, I did so for designe element sake, and for the absurd 3:1 price gouge ratio that the Ford Flex is attempting (miserably) to demand for the car/CUV

its sort of ugly, yet styled pretty cool at the same time. I am also impressed how it can get over 20 mpg with that cubic shape. Its a nice car, lots of poilshed chrome everywhere really helps. However there are still many people that would consider this ugly

So, you're comparing the xB to the Flex? Are you serious? Really serious???? Comparing a CUV that has better initial build quality and 201.8" long and 83.2 cubic feet of cargo room to a jap crap piecer (that has major known issues, forcing the re-design) that is 167" long with MUCH LESS volume? You guys are more jaded to jap crap cars than I thought. This is the reason why Ford doesn't care about bringing the good cars to America...you all are too stupid to know a good thing when you see one.

I agree with aztec1. Think about this tho... At the $17K price I paid for the loaded Xb special edition release series 1.0 I own (hot lava orange!), I get about 35 mpg (driving gently). Using the median price of the Flex ($36K) and using Ford published city mileage of 17MPG, I could BUY AND DRIVE 2 of the Scions Xbs for less than the cost of 1 Flex. If comparing a base Xb (14K) to the Flex Limited loaded price ($45K+), the ratio goes to 3:1!!!GET REAL FORD!
