This guy just jailed an American for saying that the king does not smile. The comments were made in the US. Why is he jail over there??? Comments were made in the US. Fu** Thailand. Long Live Democracy.

...and then if the elected candidate turns out not to be the monarchy's favorite after all, he and his Royal Army are in the habit of orchestrating a coup against him and machine-gunning the protestors

- Throws you 15 years in jail if you think there's something wrong with the above, so that he can then brag to the world about how everybody loves him and nobody ever criticizes him (being a republican is, of course, a criminal offence)

- Directly controls the military, and much of the economy and the media (and censors the rest)

- Made a fortune from ripping off public assets, to the point where he is now the richest head of state in the world, holding wealth equivalent to 20 million times (!) the median monthly Thai wage

- Participated in the killing of 4 million people during the Vetnam war, and has presided over various massacres of civilians in his own country
