@omgjeep Another YouTube member answered this question, basically agrees with what I have heard from people who work there:
'the dry slide is dry because I went in '96 and it was uneven. in the dark parts there were bumps. the closed that down because people hit their heads on the top. i just posted this if anyone wanted to know.'' - mateom27 1 year ago

@whathappensLIVE Twister if you like a slide that is essentially an entirely open chute. Howler if you like half of it enclosed. I like how they drilled holes in the enclosed section of Howler to give the appearence of little lights flying by. Not as many stairs to climb for Howler, but only one of the two chutes is open, so waiting time might be long on a weekend... both are really nice slides.

Ok, but can you like take video of the out side of it? Like what the entrance and exit looks like. Cause wikipedia says the ending is different (is it one of those run out endings?) That would be awesome!
Ever since the first time I was on this slide, in 1987, I always thought it looks so cool with the holes drilled in the enclosed section of the slide to simulate lights - 0:27.
I don't recall if the left slide which is out of service, and has been dry for years also had the holes drilled in the enclosed section.
I was there yesterday, and the second slide was still dry and full of dust and debris. I wish what you stated was true about the second slide being re-opened after so many years...
This slide is sooooo boring, it goes on forever for very little payoff. The actual waterpark is a blast though ( =

ckTwilight7777 8 months ago
@ckTwilight7777 Twister is at the highest point of the water park. And Howler has only one slide open
TealHikari 6 months ago
They refurbished the Blue bullet so why not the other howler slide if it not safe no more?

stupidest slide ever!!
natalkaparker1 11 months ago
@natalkaparker1 .......Because???
Of course, most folks would not expect a waterslide to have any degree of intelligence anyway....

Do you have a video of the new blue bullet chute? (s)
Ruxify 2 years ago
No videos in the blue bullet chutes, because they are narrow diameter and enclosed, so there is little to see with the camera.

i thought this was called the twister?.. lol nevermind its been a looong time since ive been there!
vicy1661 2 years ago
Haha it must be, because I haven't been on that since '96 and it was still called the Howler then.
sainters7 2 years ago
twister and howler are different slides. Howler is somewhat in the middle of the tower, and twister is the tallest slide.
