you can get the basement keys to andale from moriartys saloon, i believe you have to pick pocket gob the ghoul, and lockpick a drawer by the terminal.

and if u have the cannibal perk they wont kill you and one of the residents will give you a meat pie everyday when you visit!

I found this place this morning, and entered the houses and started talking to them, and very soon realized something wasnt right, I noticed the key and stole it while they where sleeping. After I had been in the basement and went out they where outside, BUT they didnt fight me, I managed somehow to talk my self out of a fight. And I dont have the cannibal perk, I do have pretty hi in speach tho... :) not sure if thats what saved me(them). :P

You can actually get the keys without killing the people.

The one for the basement is in the same house, upstairs in the parent's room. It's right on the stand next to the bed.

The key for the shack is in the other house on top of the radio shortly after you walk in. I think i'll make a video if it's unclear for anyone. If the key isn't there for either one, then it's switched. I havn't done it in a while.

You don't have to kill these families to get the keys, there is a key behing the radio in the living room, and one somewhere else in the other house. If you go down into the shed/basement though, they ask if you found anything strange and the turn hostile.
