my dog does that, but even when he is dry. he is hilarious. he rubs al on the side and back of our couch, and if your hand is hanging off, he will bite it. the funny thing though is when he bites it tickles.
Hey genius' they do that because thye still have water in their ear canals and their ears are so sensative their trying to get it out because they cant hear normal.....Know your dogs people
most dogs do that... I'm very careful with my basset's ears :), and she still does this and runs like crazy. They also love getting all other scents on their body, to camouflage their own from pray, after all they were bred for hunting rabbits.
Checked twice a year? Yes because I'm sure the Vet will totally find water in the dog's ears from the shower he took 3 months ago. And he's not saying he knows about YOUR dogs, he's saying he knows the breed. Because this isn't something only YOUR dogs do.
aww now i miss my basset, she died two years ago. after a shower she would run around the house in circles until she was dry. i never saw her run so fast. your dogs are so funny and cute.
Thanks for the compliment but it's not me. The hounds are the ones that make the video, I just have to keep the camera near by and wait for them to act... and this is nothing compared to what they do. I just never can get the camera ready in time.

He does that ALL the time and it has nothing to do with ear problems as he gets them checked and cleaned twice a year.
I know my dogs WAY better than you ever will.
