Church Continues to Build Temples Worldwide

The Portland, Oregon temple is beautiful. It's the one closest to my house. It's good to see the Church of God building so many temples.

The Tonga Temple looks so tropical in it's beautiful island setting. It reminds me of the stake center in Laie near the BYUH campus and Polynesian Culture Center here on the island of Oahu, Hawai'i. Talofa! And Imua, Na Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

I hope that there will be another temple in Missouri soon. I hope that we will see it near the Springfield/Branson area. My family has prayed for one, and my children fast from time to time. I know if may be a long time yet before we have one, but I still hope for it. Traveling 4 1/2 hours one way is not easy. Others go much farther, but I would like to attend more often.

I live in Rexburg, going to school at BYUI. I had the opportunity to attend the dedication of the temple in Feb 08. I enjoy the beauty that the temple radiates over all of Rexburg. I love attending this temple very much. :)
