  • nao sei se o negrinho que ela fez ficou bom, mas que os peitos dela são uma delícia, isso eu não tenho dúvida ! :D~~~

  • I am gonna make them tomorrow... but just wanted to know if I can use cooking chocolate instead of choco powder?

  • @smssr84 Using Melted chocolate can change the consistency of this dessert because of additional moisture from the melted chocolate. I prefer using a powder because you don't have to go through extra steps. Remember you always have to think about the moisture content, specially if you are trying to condense something. I hope that makes sense and that it also helped out, Thanx.

  • Thanks for the video.

Is there a reason why you do not use butter in your recipe ?

I have seen some recipes with butter and some without . What is the difference ?

I can´t wait to make some soon :-)

  • @YTfancol You don't need butter, so people use it because it changes the moisture content. Butter also adds shine to certain desserts like chocolate or sauces. Butter can also change the texture of what you are eating and make it more buttery. The condensed milk will give it that look. Also less ingredients are getting used, thats always good.Hopefully that was helpful.

  • I can't seem to make it into balls it keeps makeing itslef slide.. i tryed harding it into the freezer everything and still can't manage it and advice?!

  • @lizzie14367 You have to make sure you are letting it thicken in the heating process. Make sure you are careful not to burn it, but by watching the mix while you stir it you will be fine. Let it heat up to consistency, it will start to bubble and thicken as it comes away from the pot. If you don't let it do that it will not form into the shape you want it to become. Hope that helps!

  • I love the way you say cocoa. Are you brazilian?

  • No, hehe, thanx.

  • Hmm. Didn't think so. I just made some last night, having watched your video. I didn't serve it with lemon like you did, but it was still delicious. How come you don't mix in butter with the condensed milk?

  • Obrigada, this is the best vid on how to make brigadeiro's that i've found :)

  • Thank you very much!!

  • E como faz para que ele nao grude no fundo da panela, e nao fique com bolinhas duras no meio do brigadeiro?

  • Hmmm.. Is it possible to make them w/o using butter or can a substitute like peanut butter be used instead? :-x

  • Peanut butter is sticky and the reason you use butter or a butter substitute is so that when you are making the brigadeiro it is easier to handle it and it sticks less to your hands or any equipment you are using as a guide so that they all come out uniform. Hope that helped, thanx.

  • Yes and also. How long do you have to leave them in the fridge? I dont think ya mentioned that. :-P

    and thanks

    :D

  • You leave the mix in the fridge until you see the consistency thicken, and if you tilt the plate it doesn't slide off. Don't worry you will be able to tell because it hardens enough so you can work with it. :)
