  • Why does Cheryl Ladd have an Irish accent?

  • Dr. Jekyll = Dr. Bruce Benner

    Mr. Hyde = Incredible Hulk

How come the butler never notice that his master is a monster while they were living in the same roof? for the whole time, never seen mr. Hyde in that house coincidentally?? really???

  • "And get my name right. Snape. Severus Snape."

  • OMG the end o.O

  • They make a bad Nintendo game, But they make a great movie. =)

  • wait how come the towns people aren't against jekyll

  • avgn brought me here

  • Brilliant movie. Thanks very much for that. I never knew this existed.

  • I'll just be an echo of the majority and say thanks for uploading this version, it's hard to find which is sad for such a great movie =)

    MICHAEL CAINE FOR PREZ!! :D

  • The exact title of the film starring Michael Caine is as follows: Jekyll & Hyde (1990), regards Alex.

  • I dont know how you did this, but you should get a medal for it.

  • lol this be some scandalous shit yo

  • OH I loove this movie..its so deliciously low and campy! Thanks so much..btw got The Ripper? (also stars Micheal Caine) I would sooo very much appreciate seeing that one again!

  • Thank You SO Much for uploading this absolute Gem of a Film!!!

  • WOW. How 'bout that ending?

  • the endng made me lol

  • this is an adaptation of the story, is not what stevenson wrote. If you want to know the real Dr Jeckyl... read the book. This things happens when your dark side take over us, the good and the evil of the same soul, the evil side is strong,is not a game, is real. Stevenson was right, the science is powerful and can control the mind (psychology) everything is in the brain, if something goes wrong in it your attitude and emotions will change for worse, chemicals (drugs) is part of it

  • the dark side of the man. all of us have a mr hyde (hide) inside.

  • Henry?

  • Man was made in the image of the Creator, he is laughing in the face of God. LOL ok.. the Bible even says that.. clearly he's wrong?

  • Albernom i have a question for you what console do you have(PS3,XBOX 360)

  • Hey look! There's Alfred!

  • Thumbs up if you think that Mr. Hyde is a metaphor for alcoholism / drug addiction.

  • We finished watching this in English...

I was dissapointed. Thanks for hte upload, but this is probably one of hte weaker 'Jekyll+Hyde' movies out there. Especially with that phoned in twist-ending. But the transformation scene is by far still the best I've ever seen

  • Isnt hde suppose to have firey hair? I can see why though. hard effects

  • since when is hyde a bald fucking retard?!!!!!!!

  • We just watched this in our English class at Eastwood High School. If any of you are out there, give us a thumbs up for being at my school or in my class! :D

  • Lol

  • YOU (The uploader) my dear sir....are an angel!

Thank you so much for the upload!

  • @IvanBeSerious Thank you for your kind words! I'm just glad that so many people are watching and enjoying this movie.

  • Cheryl Ladd was great with the classy British accent in this film. A far cry from her character "Angel Eyes" in Charlie's Angels.

  • I liked the James Nesbett mini series

  • I didnt know that jekyll had a child

  • @Zombie115ful Yep, this film is one of the few adaptations in which Jekyll one or more children. However, this wasn't the case in the original book, in which most of the main characters (Jekyll included) are bachelors, and are almost never seen interacting with women in normal situations, much less romantically.

  • i'd appreciate any information: is there any connection between this film and michael caine's "jack the ripper?" are the two films part of a series?

  • His transformation into Hyde here is just the way I always imagined it and wanted to see it and that is werewolf transformation style. No "just shining a light on the actors face after pasting a patch of hair on his face and making him wear a pair of plastic fangs" bullcrap here.

  • Respectably good movie.

  • ...this chick is insane. He just admited he raped her anonymously & conceal him from the police. Perhaps she should tried to get hired as a maid for her daddy sinice her disowned her. smh

  • he means mr sulu

  • evil it is not a scientific word.

  • Where's the women charging, the birds shitting, and the guys dropping bombs? Ya know.. from the NES game?

  • "One time, when I was in Burma..." was all I was expecting Jekyll to say throughout the whole thing. I've been watching too much Batman. (:

  • youtube will ban you because of this video...FUCK YOUTUBE

  • @didogazeto not if he mentions the fair use of copyrighted material (which he did). that's how you go around it.

  • @SkipFour my ed edd n eddy picture show was deleted by CN

  • Fuck you!!!Now go play some Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyyyyyyyyyyyyyde

  • AVGN ANYONE?

  • I'm still watching....but I think that is probably the biggest bustle I ever saw!!

  • Can u message me the names of all the Jeckyll and Hyde movies?

  • I actually liked it :) i feel so bad for sarah though :( and i couldnt help but laugh at the sons face at the end haha. It was so derpy XD but overall good movie. Im gonna go watch the page master now because it reminded me haha

  • who directed this shit?

  • 23:00 I bet there's Whiskey in the third one xD

  • LOOOOOL

  • Aww.. Michael Caine. <3

  • This is one of the better adaptations I've seen, mostly because Caine is such a fine actor and so well suited to the role of Jekyll. I wonder if anyone has made a version in which Jekyll and Hyde are played by different actors? Other than DOCTOR JEKYLL AND SISTER HYDE, I mean. In the story, Hyde is physically smaller than Jekyll; Jekyll's clothes don't fit him. Seems as if the best way to do it would be to have two different people, though I guess actors would prefer the double role.

  • amazing movie. the end is shocking!!!

  • Not bad effects for a 1990 TV movie.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this rare movie. This is the best of them all. Michael Caine did a excellent job on playing both jekyll and hyde and the transformations we're quite excellent. Old school make up effects that is.

  • So basically Dr. Jekyll have a spilt personality and taking the medic to prevent himself to turn into Hyde? But what cost it to begin with the transformation, did he try a experiment and failed which result of Mr. Hyde?

  • ........some keys no work properly am afraid :))))

  • thanks for upoad it mate, especially in n parts. michael caine wonderful as usuall, and this version in my opinion is best

as the latest to much of tech inside. for the 1931 version is classic now, as most of these copies

  • Thanks very much for sharing this film. I do think Michael Caine is an outstanding actor and this is a truly memorable adaptation of the original novel. In my childhood I found this film quite scary but today it is just thrilling & fully appreciated. :)

  • I remember watching this when i was a kid. Thank you so much for uploading!

  • He sounds like the hulk when he changes

  • very nice movie.. thank you very much.. been looking for this version for a very long time...unavailable even on torrents.. hopefully and luckily enough got it here.. many thanks.

    Cheers !! :)

  • please could you tell me where did you get the dvd of this film as I've been looking for it for years. thanks

  • Which of all these dr jekyll movies is the best in your opinion?

  • @DutchTony1 That's hard to answer, since I like a lot of them for many different reasons; I can't choose just one. Out of the 50 or so JH films I've got, all of these I like the very best: Edge of Sanity, Mary Reilly, the TV series "Jekyll", Jekyll+Hyde, Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde, the Two Faces of Dr Jekyll, I Monster, the J&H Musical, and the films starring David Hemmings, Michael Caine, Kirk Douglas, John Hannah, Dougray Scott, Tony Todd, Spencer Tracy, Anthony Andrews and Jack Palance.

  • @albernom I like Spencer Tracy and Ingrid Bergman the best! Caine is an awesome actor, do you have 'Dressed to Kill'? Great channel!

  • @albernom I've got to agree with those choices as well. Unlike the various adaptations of Frankenstein, this saga has actually had a pretty solid cinema existence.

  • @DutchTony1 in my opinion 1931 version is the best.

  • @DutchTony1 I think this one, the David Hemming film, and the Jack Palance version were some of the best. Though admittedly they could have done something different with Hyde in this one. I mean making him an oatmeal-headed moron was a bit much.

  • @DutchTony1 I Monster

  • In my opinion the best telling of this story, with the most characterization was the musical by Frank Wilhorn

  • @malpercio123 I also enjoy the J&H Musical immensely, and my love for it has grown since I began to watch all the J&H films that came before it. It became clear that someone with a hand in creating the Musical had a keen understanding of the last century of J&H films and was able to recognize the elements that made them popular, distill them, and take it all to the next level. The Musical is great, yes, but that is partly because it had all the films that came before it to draw on & borrow from.

  • @albernom Plus, Michael Caine's the fucking man!

  • This frightened the life out of me as a kid when first on. I still remember how he accidetally kills his Father when he's changing and how Hyde brutally rapes Cheryl Ladd - the disfigured child bearing Hydes likeness right at the end looking dead on camera is even more frightening. Also, I remember how his hair was sucked back into his head as he changed - horrid. Was brilliant though.

  • When I was a kid, I always thought Dr Jekyll was the bad guy because the name sound creepier than Mr Hyde.

  • @firstborn1988gorsaga i know right. I don't know why but doctors are always scarier than normal people. It might have something to do with Dr doom and Dr Octupus and all those super villians with phd's but who am i too judge.

  • why do you only have dr jekyll and mr hyde content?

  • @iFiraga Well, to put it simply I'm a fan of Jekyll and Hyde in all forms, and I want to make it very easy for other people to learn about it, get interested in it, and hopefully become fans too. When I was collecting J&H adaptations, I found that many of these movies were hard to find, expensive, etc. I thought it sad that finding these great films was so difficult, so I decided to share them here. I do like other gothic literature-based films, but for now I want to focus on sharing J&H stuff.

  • Okay, can you seriously cure a hematoma, or is this movie treating me like I don't know what it is? :/

  • 0:34:30 to 0:35:15 : the BESTEST scene of the entire movie... gosh, I could watch that over and over and over again heeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

  • FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH for this upload... have been trying to find this FOREVER... one of my favorite versions... AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thank you! i've been looking for this version forever - used to have it on vhs but lost it. it's my personal favorite version of the story.

  • Can't thank you enough for posting this. It's absolutely my favorite version!! I've waited ten years to see this again...thank you so much!

  • thanks u was looking for this

  • I've never understood how Hyde could push that child in the begining, slip in the house, transform to Dr. Jekyll and change his clothes, all in the time it took to Utterson to carry the said child in the house.

Main problem I have with this version is that it seems like a huge Victorian costume drama that doesn't focus on Jekyll/Hyde theme enough. It's not a bad film but not the better ones either.

  • Thank you for posting this -- I remember seeing promos for this on television when I was eleven but being too frightened to watch it. Now I finally have that chance. Thank you again!

  • o.o this is the first movie that had a Lucy in it o.o

  • @RosesNightengales and Lucy Harris o.o...

  • Thanks for the upload. I remember seeing this when it was first aired all of 20 years ago. I've been waiting to see it again ever since. Brilliant!!!!

  • how can you opload a full movie .. normally a Youtube user can only put out videos at the size of 10 min ´s

  • @Fckstyre I'm not sure exactly what the qualifications are, all I know is that after I uploaded quite a few under-15-minute-long videos, it gave me a notice on my upload page saying that I could now post videos that go over the normal limit. I'm very glad it happened too, because it makes it much easier to post feature-length films, since I don't have to go through the trouble of cutting them up into chunks.

  • @albernom - maybe its because you've kept with certain Youtube rules and are now enabled to put full Vids up. Just a guess. Anyhow, thanks for putting this up,I've been wanting to see it a long time, since 1990.

  • This a very diffrent version. Ronald Pickup (Aslan) is fantastic as Utterson, and Caine is a good Jekyll. It's very rare that Hyde is so quiet and shadowy as he is in this version. And he's rarely been this hideous.

Not one of the best, but a must for all Jekyll & Hyde fans.

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • @giannismitsou No problem! :) I'm just glad I was able to get a version uploaded that works properly. I'd be really sad if I wasn't able to share a movie this brilliant with everyone.
