  • @suny123boy1 u have the only franchise that lost a team to keep the logo/history. u only went 3 years w/out, Balto went 13 years. If u r a fan, then u see this Raven team in the playoffs & the respect the fans get from media. We didnt deserve 2 lose a team either 4 so long. U r not the only fans that love their team & their football. 4 the most part, we've long let go of the Colts. Really guys, it's time you did the same. Have to wonder what part winning plays in this need to dislike.

  • Art Modell, a New Yorker and businessman, bought a team founded by an Ohioan football coach (Paul Brown), fired him, and moved it to Baltimore for money. FUCK him.

  • did most of the 1995 browns become the 1996 ravens?

  • So this is why the bengals sucked in the 90's….Mike Brown wants to see the browns win instead

  • stop crying you got your team and your stupid colors and your records. ravens are considered an expansion team now even by the NFL. still hurting because your team stinks and for no other reason.

  • @raratunga FUCK YOU

  • @LethalEnforcer1 back @ u ahole. try winning basement dweller. do u live with your mom, too?

  • @raratunga Thank you. They got their team back, they kept the colors, everything that was even assoicated to them...was all kept intact! Did we fans here in Baltimore get that after the Colts left....HELL NO. So you people should be lucky. But hey, don't get mad at us. Not my fault we won a Super Bowl in your lifetime and you didn't....and never will.

  • @THEsquirrel3d You can't reason with some of these people - not all, just some. Maybe if they went 13 years instead of 3 they would appreciate their team as we do. I think if they won, at least here and there, maybe things would be different.

  • @raratunga Only a ravens fan will see it that way. Your city basically stole someone else's team.

  • Hey it's Mike Brown, the second-worst owner in the NFL only because Al Davis is still alive!

  • @RoyalTebowDoom ...........welp, I guess that makes Mike Brown the worst now.

  • @RoyalTebowDoom Well...not anymore

  • @RoyalTebowDoom Wow thats akward now isnt it...

  • Ahh seeing Michael Jackson brings back great memories of the Ravens 1996 Offense.......Vinny T to Jackson....TD! Baltimore's Offense has never been as good as that season's.

  • cleveland didnt have the browns for what 2 or 3 years?baltimore lost the colts forever and now have to watch the horseshoe being worn every sunday by the team in indy.

its not baltimores fault the browns suck and the ravens are a top 5 nfl franchise.the fans here didnt want to take the browns,we tried for years to get an expansion team but the nfl didnt do the right thing and instead put a joke of a franchise in jacksonville.this whole thing is really their fault.

  • @MrAce20251 I agree, I always believed baltimore should have an NFL team and I thik it is unfair for cleveland fans to judge Baltimore harshley when baltimore themselves had heartbreak with the loss of the colts.

  • @halodystroyer44 Talk about ignorant! Do you not remember the hurt you went through in 1984? How is the Browns being ripped away from Cleveland any different? The circumstances yes, the hurt, no! I LOVE to see the Ravens lose bc of Art Modell, not bc of the fans of Baltimore. It is the owners who do this hurting to fans.

  • @sutherland721 ummmm, im not from baltimore

  • @sutherland721 Now THAT I can agree with.

  • I'm an English fan and I've only been an NFL fan for 4 years, but if Art wanted a franchise in Baltimore why didn't the league vote against him moving the Browns, let them stay and be sold to new owners and then give permission for Art to start the Ravens as an expansion franchise in 99.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense but I don't know the full story and something like that would never in a million years happen in England.

Got a soft spot for the Browns now.

  • @nvcfc18 The NFL had it in for Baltimore and wouldn't give them an expansion team. In 1995, Carolina and Jacksonville were both given expansion franchises over Baltimore. Baltimore lost its team in 1984 when their owner bolted in the middle of the night and stole the team from the city. Modell left for a few reasons, one being Cleveland did not want to build a new stadium. Moving franchise in the US is not an uncommon practice, but for the fans on the business end it hurts like hell.

  • @matisforever Modell didn't want a new stadium, since he essentially owned Municipal Stadium (and made lots of money off of it for years when the Indians were his tenant). And when he asked for voters $175 million in public funds to make repairs to modernize the stadium, the voters overwhelmingly approved it (despite the fact that the election occurred after Modell announced his plans to move the team to Baltimore). To say that "Cleveland did not want to build a new stadium" is just untrue.

  • I hope if this happens that all the owners vote it down. Unlike this were only two voted it down Ralph Wilison and the owner of the Steelers Dan Rooney. Art Modell deserves nothing in fact fact he is a hypocrite.

He voted against Davis moving to LA but then moved the Browns to Baltimore. If the city had not sued they would not have their Browns colors, logo or history with them.

Even though I am a Steeler fan I hope the Browns can overcome their ownership with Mike Holmgren in charge.

  • @ECWRulz32

You might be the only steelers fan i like.

  • shoulda never returned...

  • You a coward and a soul-less bastard modell and you deserve to burn at the stake for what you did. My father is the most mild mannered, emotionally unmoved man I know and he still cannot talk about this day without crying like a child.

    Fuck you Art.

  • Sipe, along with everyone else who knew even a miniscule thing about the browns and their relationship with the city of cleveland and the nations of browns fans all over....everyone knew when we lost that team, everything that defined cleveland and our browns would NEVER hold a candle to anything that came afterwards. No fanbase, in any sport, INCLUDING baltimore, can relate to what we went through.

  • @brownsnation I'm sorry.
