belly dancing is not suppose to be strong movements like this she sure can shake her body but she need to make smooth movements I dont know what she is doing:))
strong, n o. They were... how do you say it in english? they marked the movements... like... they were crisp and sharp, but not strong, because belly dance is about feminity. She IS doing her movements way to strong, and she lacks lots of grace. My teacher used to make crips and sharp movements, but they were still graceful and feminine, which made them look smooth.

let me tell you somethinbg: it is not about having more curves, doing wrong movements or too fast or how ever.. or about belly dance in general..
this is about culture, tradition and rhythm combined with belly dance..
you who dance it differently or criticise her just know it differently and also a DIFFERENT MUSIC... just let her dance her dance.. :)

I think you guys are unfamiliar with the roots of modern belly dance. A lot of the movements were originally very strong
