He should be the only one on stage. Is letterman making his jokes to fit him or the people ?, he obviously has a job to keep, and would always have the people in mind. But what about his own mind ? @C6Dude402 Don't forget that Letterman makes fun of everyone, including Obama and Biden. But the one he makes fun of the most is HIMSELF and his own show. He's just being silly and from what I hear, he actually likes Ron Paul.

You are right he does make fun of a lot of people, even on his show .

But, Obama and Biden were already elected, he can't hurt their campaign. Some people that don't have a computer and rely on the mainstream news for what's going on in the world, it probably influences them a little.

Maybe I misinterpreted the joke and it was good to get the exposure on his show.
