This video is pretty messed up, like a lot of people say, but it represents some aspect of reality. It's full of images of people hurting themselves/others or being tortured; the message the song gives is that in spite of whatever may happen to one (torture, victimization, humiliation, rape- being bound by ropes... etc.), "love is all I am." The message in the song is that "I am love", and no one can take that away from one's self. As bizarre as the video is, I took that message away from it.
Geez, Dawes, I totally love every single thing you sing, but this video??? What on earth IS this? This really does NOT do justice to one of your absolute best songs. I'm sad.
Advertisements on youtube are incredibly annoying. They truly make me want to NOT buy their products, Just type out " sponsored by . . " or keep the ads 5 seconds or less.
