I rememer when the helicopters use to land on top of the Pan Am building, now Met Life. One crashed and that was the end of it. It was a nice way to get to Kennedy airport.
This is probably from the early 60s because the Wall Street sign still uses the humback design that dates back to the 1920's. The color-coded signs debuted around 1964, and
