Great beat from just one of the stock beatkits. Took a kit that has a tango flair and used it to make a basic rap beat. Yes the app is 20 bucks but it's well worth it. Beatmaker is no toy. It's basically everything you need to create hip hop beats, techno and full songs on the iPod/iPhone.

Is it just me, or whenever you press record when you're on pads, it automatically puts it on loop? It ruins this for me, as I want it to lead to the next pattern, and not just keep looping.

Click the little thing on the bottom left corner, and then it'll show Play/Stop Record Loop and Metronome. Just click loop again and it'll stop looping if that is a word.

i dont think so but i know you can make your own beats and has drums like garageband but with out some instruments and it comes with some already made beats from instruments and you can add them together to make a song

This works on the iPod Touch, too. You need to have the iPhone 2.0 update though which gives you the App Store application. Once you have the App Store, you can buy this and a number of iPod/iPhone applications
