  • this is such a cool pattern......a lot of girls r wearing these at my school!!!!!

  • Is it possible you can make a pac man bracelets

  • @dancing163 Those are alphas... I don't do alphas on video since they take hours to make. I have general tutorials on how to do the basics and read patterns which you can use. There should be pacman patterns on friendship-bracelets(dot)net.

  • Oops not an exclamation mark!

  • We're you using embroidery floss in this video!?

  • @pitbullgianni I was. I write out what materials I am using in the video description.

  • you say that we can make triple and so on, but I was wondering if you predict it would start folding into itself? Or would it stay flat...I just remember when I was younger that I tried to make a very very large candystripe and it turned into a circle-like thing, but perhaps it's just the style I was doing or that my knots were faulty

  • @Keikori I want to say your knots might have been too tight (or maybe they were faulty as you said.)

Check my "Four Types of Knots" video to confirm you are doing them proper. If you are then I'd say it must be the tension. You pretty much want to pull the string as tightly as you would a strand of your own hair. Sometimes I find wiggling upward slightly helps if the knot being made is being resistant... but I won't really make my pulling change tension if it happens.

  • Too cute!!! Love it!!!

  • Comment removed

  • WAIT WHAT?:D

  • @BuddyClubRae "The Four Types of Knots" video might help you out if you don't understand. I explain the knots in depth and show them... after learning the four types you should be able to follow anything on my channel.

  • i love your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :]

  • your videos are so helpful! thankyou! :)

  • how would you make this with 3 colors?

  • @xzyannax By using three colors.

Unless you mean adding a third "V" if that's the case you add a third chevron base.

  • GOOGLE~~~ :D lol anyone else notice the colors

  • Hey, I was just wondering, what do you mean by, "folded in half."? Do you mean the strings should be one big loop, as they would be if you were doing a fishbone/fishtail? Thanks. (:

  • @zZmekmekZzDrummerzZ They should be a loop but at the top, not the base. For fishbones you have the loops for your fingers, for these the loop should be at the very top and loose strings hang down.

  • hi i love this i am going to make one know i love making them i know how to do the pegwing, hearts, chevron, zig zag, double zig zag, the double cheveron know, and so much more i watch all your videos so thx for teaching me all these!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks but next time can you show how many strings and the suplise?

  • @angieandjazy I have the number of strings and supplies listed in the description. I always list that in the description.

  • i love all your videos!!!!!! i now have my own thanks to you!!!!!!! i never thought there were so many to make!!!!!!!!

  • Is it possible to make one with only 2 colours??? thx

  • @brillbracelets009 Yes, just set it up with two colors.

  • How come all your products on your website so expensive? Cuz I would love to buy some but I don't have that much money. :]

  • @futurefreakz3000 I charge by how long it takes to make. I do minimum wage ($8) per hour.

Since I have tutorials on how to make everything I expect that people can and will make their own stuff but if they choose not to they can purchase one... my time spent is what you are paying for and I want to believe with what care I put in to my jewelry that they are worth at least minimum wage.

  • I did it is so easy i have watch all ur videos. N i had learn alot :) love ur videos hope u do more

  • @-@!

  • OMG thx for helping me i learn alot now i can do it im so happy!!! :)

  • question... what would the color pattern be to make the red and white one?

    gracias.

  • @tuitionfruition nvm, stupid question.

  • 60 inches before or after you fold it in half?

  • @mymaya12 Before the fold.

  • I have a question! What do you do with the bracelets that you make in the tutorials!?

  • @juliavalentesilva They aren't full bracelets. I can only use a small amount of string otherwise I would be hitting the camera while making it. By then end of the tutorial it's not long enough to do more than what you see in the video.

  • True

  • i think it would be cool to make the zig-zag pattern with this many string....... might be hard though.

  • fantastic video!! i followed the instuctions and i made a lovely bracelet. What kind of cord do you use? Can you send me a link of the cords that you use?

  • @kleodel The type was written in the description.

  • @BeyondBracelets aww yes now i saw it!!! Thank you for your time..Keep doing the great job!!!!

  • Someone make a tutorial on the Thumbnail bracelet. I don't understand the pattern...

    Please...

  • @iiTamsterZzz Set up the strings like in the pattern in the description and do your joining of the chevrons and work towards the middle like in the video. It doesn't matter how many strings you use, it's the same method. Just work until you reach the centers.

  • @beyondbracelets

sorry... i meant two colors and five of each color

  • @ibellew1 You set it up with five strings of two colors... I'm not sure what the issue is? o.0

(COLOR 1) middle of chevron (COLOR 2) joined here (COLOR 1) middle of chevron(COLOR 2)

Just set them up evenly make the one chevron on the left symmetrical and then match it on the right. (From the outside of the chevron into the middle the strings should be mirrored.)

Sorry... I can't explain any better. It's the same method for every color scheme/number of colors you just need to mirror it.

  • how would you set up your stirings with two strings and five of each color?

  • @ibellew1 I'm confused what you mean by two strings... wider stripes/two strings beside one another?

You'd need a pretty wide bracelet for that to work on a chevron. If you want five colors with two strings on top of one another to make thick stripes you'd need something like 11 22 33 44 55 - 55 44 33 22 11 and then again for the second chevron.

  • I love how you explain how to do it in a easy way =) Helps me out really much since I love doing friendship bracelets, though I'm just using them myself xD But this helped me a lot! =)

  • I CAN'T SEE THE DISLIKE BAR!

  • i Just made it! I love your videos! Can you please make another one soon! Thanks

  • Ya

  • This video was too long.

  • @lizzylaughsoutloud Feel free to learn how to read patterns on your own if you feel the video is not helpful. Friendship-bracelets(dot)net is a good place, =3

  • i <3 ur vids!!! XD

i wanted to watch the penguin video but when i press it it keeps on pausing.:(

  • @shoot1100 Hm... try refreshing your browser/clearing the cookies out... it might help some.

If you don't know how just Google "How to clear out cookies from ----firefox/internet explorer/etc-----" and it should tell you how to get rid of the history/cookies.

  • hey can u check out my video on how to make forwards and backwards knots and tell me if it is good or not? just search 90210bracelets And it should come up

  • Candystripe,candysripe,candystripe,candystripeTHANChevron,Chevron,Then W

  • thanks you always help me a lot..NEVER failed with your explications

  • looks like a W

    isn`t it???can u plz,make more patterns??i love your vids!!

  • well that was a fail and a waste of string. mine came out horrible :(

  • @pandapower2000 Maybe try using 25 inches or so then fold that to make a practice run. I never use the full length when testing patterns.

Also... Make sure to pull them with the same tension/properly. If you've got holes I have a video on it... just check "Help my bracelet has holes" and if it's just you not being able to keep them in order... the cardboard loom video might give you an idea of how to do that better.

  • can you use three colors each

  • @Stringforever23 Just set it up as 111 222 333 etc. and mirror image it for a single chevron.. then do a second one beside it to make it a double chevron.

  • My friend turned this into a math problem for her sister: "If there are two candy stripes in a chevron, and there are two chevrons in a double chevron, how many candy stripes are in a double chevron?

  • hi! who can we do this with just white and red like the image?

  • can u do as many strings as you want like 4 or 3???plz reply

  • @packanacky It's the same method for as many strings as you can handle. Just divide them into equal parts and count the knots.

  • How do we finish it?

  • @MsSunDaay YT SEARCH: "How To Start & Finish Friendship Bracelets"

  • Thanks this helped a lot :)

  • well that failed...

  • @XxCCtinaxX Sorry. Did you try out using a cardboard loom or did you just have everything flopping around? Some people find the loom video I posted helped them.

  • how do you put your camera ?¿

  • @caturrisgonzalez YT SEARCH: BeyondBracelets Camera Setup

  • I'm now going to attempt this. This should be interesting XD

  • Could you theoretically do as many Chevrons as you want?

  • @Win4Burns Yep.

  • Sorry I keep asking questions on your videos , lol but did you say to do 60" and fold them in half and THEN begin the pattern , making 30" for each color?? I got a little lost .

  • @berribrite Yes. 60" to 65" inches is then folded in half to form a loop with an overhand knot. You will then, after the fold, get a duplicate string and they will end up appx 30 inches.

  • lindos trabajos gracias por compartir

  • Your vids are so cool~!!!!! Thanks very much for sharing them!!!!!!! It has motivated me into doing friendship bracelets XD

  • thats really cool!

  • How do you make this bracelet with only 2 colors? Like in the picture.. how do you set up the string?

  • @1313TSwizzle Bottom of the video description.

  • @BeyondBracelets i know how to do this bracelet, I was just wondering for the cover picture, how many strings of each color you used....and i would just like to say how much i appreciate everything you do!! thankd alot!!

  • @sokkershorty53 It's in the video description.

  • if it's just two colours for this one like the thumbnail picture, how do you arrange the strings?

  • @wonderlaady Bottom of the description.

  • @BeyondBracelets i dun understand it :(( but er is it the same as this one?

  • @wonderlaady You look at the top row of "lumps" and set it up like that. Those top lumps are the strings. You make it the same way working towards the middle. I explain the "bulky" stripes in the first candystripe video. The series is meant to carry on from the most basic to this. If you still need help then just look at the candystripe video.

  • Thank you so much 감사해여 ㅎㅎ

  • thank you sooo much for making videos they are extremely helpful :)

  • @loverofeverything15 Box friendship bracelet? I'm not sure what you mean exactly... can you send a link/picture/pattern number to my YT inbox?

  • @loverofeverything15 /watch?v=GnyYLx98zzg in the video description there.

  • So, I was really bored this Sunday morning and spontaneously decided I wanted to make some friendship bracelets! I've watched so many videos and was ridiculously annoyed that I wasn't getting it. Im a visual learner, you see, and I thought you should know that your method of "breaking it down" really catered to how I learn. Great video, baby cakes, good job and thanks!

  • @shannonwilson10 Aw, thanks. I'm glad it helped you learn!

  • the bracelet that shows when you click on this video how do you set that up?

  • @1235oreo Video Description.

  • Can i make them 6 colors??

  • @purpleeloover18 You can make them as many colors as you'd like. Just make sure you have all of the strings in mirror image on each chevron. Two same colors beside one another is thick bands. One color on its own is thin bands.

  • i love it you should make even more videos

  • How would you arrange the strings if you just wanted to use 2 colors?

  • @mymyates7878 Video description. "Knotting grid for the thumbnail bracelet"

  • can i do more then 2 rows. will it be the same. if i do, do 3?

  • @xmicaela96 You can do as many rows as you'd like... you just need to have the strings in the order of the rows. If you want three blue rows then you'll have blue/blue/blue in a row in the pattern. If you want to separate the blues with a black then you'd have blue/blue/blue/black and when it repeats it will have three thick blue rows and a single black thin row... the more strings you add for rows the thicker the bracelet will become.

  • @bracelets101234 You could join them right off the bat I just did this for ease of making it for beginners. I tried to introduce it in the same manner I introduced the single chevrons... so I decided to start them off with a few rows on either side so they would have a base that wouldn't confuse them. If you feel confident in it you can just join them on the first row.

  • can you please help me ??is the embroidery floss: SILK METY GLITTER POLY POLY FIRE COTTY FILAINE MONO SOLAR GLOWY / FLUOR >>>>????
  • @MiSsHoPeLeSs08 It's cotton. Six stranded 100% cotton embroidery floss.

  • i just finished making it, and it took me like all day, but worth it! it looks so nice :) thanksss, great videoo

  • can you show us what you look like??

  • @sportsgal1211 Check my profile on my channel. I put pictures.

  • receives forgiveness heard that name used for the thread that handles please Answer me if

    :D

  • @gian12317 Google translator is really awful... I think you asked what string I use.

I use 100% cotton string. It is DMC brand "six stranded embroidery floss."

  • i mean the big separate chevrons. you joined them every two rows but would it be okay to join them every tine before starting a new candy stripe

  • @track4life28 I didn't join them every two rows... I only did that at the very start to show an easy way of starting them. You're supposed to join them every single row. It holds the entire thing together. Not joining will cause a gap/hole to form.

  • Would it be okay to join the two chevrons every row you make or not? Or is it better to join them every other

  • @track4life28 You're supposed to join them every row... The only way every other would be useful would be if you were adding a bead to the ones you skip as a knot placeholder.

  • Thank you! Mine came out great! I love the way you explain!!! :) Thank You again!!!!!! :)

  • your funny "double cheveron double cheveron get it 2 double" lol

  • Which of your designs do you think is the fastest besides the candystripe( I have toake a buch for presents)?

  • @batkat4444 The heart would be pretty quick and isn't many strings. The dainty diamond is also quick.

  • @batkat4444 totally the chinese staircase SUPER easy

  • @batkat4444 totally the chinese staircase. minimum 2 strings.

  • Omg thank you so much I did..I DIID!!!! :X:X:X

    You're my hero thanks (:

  • @LiViChEy601127 Congrats on making it.

  • Hi, was just going thru this vid, wud be nice if u cud show one with only 2 colors, something like the white and red that is shown before the vid starts. Thankew :)

  • @gnalinytigarajan It's in the video description.

  • this so hard

  • @chelseacavagnaro Did you work your way up to it by doing the candystripe/single chevron first?

  • @BeyondBracelets no but its fine i used the strings to make a bracelet of my own thnk you tho!

  • @chelseacavagnaro Well, my point was practicing by working your way up slowly makes it a bit easier than just going from 2 strings to 20 strings. Hope everythings working out.

  • In a lot of your videos you say "fold the string in half", instead of doing that can you just cut two separate pieces?

  • @shelbsx333 Yes, but if you aren't folding the string would have to be shorter than the recommended length for folding. (65 inches for a folded one, about 35 for a non folded which will need to have ties on either side since it will have no "folded loop" to tie it on with.)

  • how to do with three colors?

  • @marra531 Check my "FIRST VIDEO: The Candystripe" in the annotation at the start of the video... It explains color placement.

  • @beyondbracelets.

Thanks, I'm not sure why I couldn't figure it out because it seems so simple, but thanks!

  • Is it possible to do this with 2 colors(like one row white one row black one row white ect) instead of 4? If it is how would you set it up?

  • @KissMyChristin Order your strings as follows: 1 2 3 4 - 4 3 2 1 (middle) 1 2 3 4 - 4 3 2 1

That was from the description.... You just get rid of the 3 and 4 and repeat with the same 2 colors.

    Thick bands means you use a set up that goes 11 22 - 22 11 (middle) 11 22 - 22 11

    Thin bands = 1 2 1 2 - 2 1 2 1 (middle) 1 2 1 2 - 2 1 2 1

  • What kind of string do you use ? ... Your string just glides and mine is terrible . Ps ! Your amazing

  • @RachelCreelman Six Stranded Embroidery Floss. Usually DMC but I've used the cheaper brands that sell six stranded floss in packs of 105 and such.

  • u are the best at making friendship braceletes

  • how many of the red & the white strings did you use in the bracelet in the thumbnail??

  • @piperisyourfriend Look at the description, the pattern is there.

  • @BeyondBracelets oh sorry! i know it annoys you when people dont read : / lesson learned!

  • You're so good at making bracelets! I found these two I really like, but cant figure out how to make. I was hoping maybe you could and then make a tutorial for them. I found them on this website... thecolorfulcollection ...i like the double waves and spades.

  • @hargisbl Others have asked for the spades, so yeah. I already have that one written... which is the double waves? Is it the same bracelet as the Double Peruvian Wave I already have posted?

  • @BeyondBracelets are there any videos you would request on a 4 color braid bracelet or can you put it on your list to make a tutorial?

  • @hargisbl no its different from the double peruvian wave. to me, it looks like instead of a single strand of thread creating the wave there are two rows of thread creating the wave

  • @hargisbl Yeah, they knot over two strings instead of just one (they butt up right beside one another like in a normal candystripe friendship bracelet) but other than jumping two strings instead of just the one its the exact same method. I could do a video on putting the strands together but right now I'm unable to make any videos. I'm trying to get my set up and camera issues sorted out so everything has been postponed.

  • You're so good at making bracelets! I found these two I really like, but cant figure out how to make. I was hoping maybe you could and then make a tutorial for them.

  • Cool! I love your work

  • I live in delaware too! :D

  • @PianoQueen116 Haha, awesome. =D

  • The colors remind me of the Wisconsin badgers- I live in wisconsin. I no this is a weird and pointless question, but what state do u live in? I'm just curios:)

  • @catzeye510 Born in raised in New Jersey but moved to the Southern Shoreline of Delaware about 6 years ago. I live close to the beach and resort area which is pretty cool. -shrugs- I like it. =D

  • In one of yur videos u said that u never actually finish any of yur bracelets. But you finished the red and white one in the video photo.

  • @catzeye510 I said I never finish the tutorial ones. If I make one on the side I make it for my own pleasure... but lately I don't anymore since I've developed carpal tunnel. That bracelet was made about two years ago. (the red and white one in the photo.)

  • @BeyondBracelets whats a carpal tunnel?

  • @123klynn456 "Carpal tunnel syndrome is pressure on the median nerve -- the nerve in the wrist that supplies feeling and movement to parts of the hand. It can lead to numbness, tingling, weakness, or muscle damage in the hand and fingers...."

Google result.. but yeah. That's pretty much it. =x The numbness is a big one.

  • @BeyondBracelets ok which intermidiate bracelets are the easiest because i dont think i can handle half of them

  • @123klynn456 Just look for ones that don't look detailed and don't have many strings. I have some nice beginner bracelets you could try. The bordered rhomboid one is cute, I think.

  • @BeyondBracelets yeah i did all of the beginner bracelets already so my goal is to do most of the intermidiate ones i like. like the double chevron(done) watermelons candy ribbon braided stich solid heart pattern slanted brick stitches and zig zagging rainbow so can u tell me which ones are the hardest and most time consuming

  • @123klynn456 Anything that looks difficult is difficult basically.

The watermelon one is leaning towards "advanced" since it is more detailed (the seed placement makes it more difficult than it should be) but the slanted brick stitches are easy since they are straight lines mostly. The zigzagging rainbow one is easy because it's also pretty much straight lines.

  • @BeyondBracelets for the red and white one u made what is the string placements?

  • @123klynn456 Check the pattern I posted in the video description for the exact pattern... but for set up It's 3red 3white - 3white 3red (middle) 3red 3white - 3white 3red

  • is it really intermediate. like is it hard? bacause i can do a perfect chevron

  • @123klynn456 I only labeled it as intermediate because it has more strings and 'more strings' tend to intimidate people. Chevrons are the easiest bracelets to do but some people can't keep the strings from getting tangled for the life of them so I just bumped it to 'Intermediate' status so people wouldn't rage at me.

  • I made one just like the one in the thumbnail pic It looks really cool!!!!

  • @deedledo12 Awesome. I'm glad it worked out for you.

  • @BeyondBracelets Haha, well thanks for all your help!

  • @BeyondBracelets Okay, I'll do just that. This is my favorite tutorial channel because your soo helpful and you actually answer the questions in the comments! Most channels usually just ignore comments. But thank you so much!
