  • all of this talk here has no meaning, the song and most of musics is 4 country not 4 whites, why is it that liberians respect whites too much.any way is an evidence of ignorance.men keep it with ur music.

  • The nigga Tro-Kon is the best

  • I and I go on Foot , even go BaREFEET... i SKIN WHITE SO YOU CAN SEE ME EASILY IN THE NIGHT ANY AND EVERY PLACE I GO IN LIBERIA IS ONE THOUGHT TAKE TOGETHER FROM THE ONE CHALICE WHEREIN THERE CAN BE FOUND NO MALICE WE ALL ARE OF ONE SAME BLOOD SO 2,011AD SMILE FOR WHAT IS TO BE PEACE THROUGH UNDERSTANDING LIKE NOW. PEACE THROUGH UNDERSTANDING LIKE NOW. PEACE THROUGH UNDERSTANDING LIKE NOW. v. good !

  • MY LIB BROTHAZ SPIITING ...I LIKE DIS I PLAY DIS SONG HERE IN TEXAS...

  • I like the music, but a question you are Liberian or American, then

  • if that's the case then why are they dressing up like americans and raping like americans? since they are representing liberian. why do they always rap fisrt of all? i have neer find a normal liberian song without rap, except gospel songs. i always love liberia and i personally think they are better than some of these ignorant people here. but music, is one thing they are not good at. to be honest. the only liberian music i like is gospel. all the rap suck.

  • i wasn't saying that i hate all lierian music becasue, i am a liberian too.

they just need to improve a litle bit in their music. if they continue to be like that, they would never go internationally. take " hustle by monrovia" music video on youtube. it is comple astry. their music will continue to stay in liberia. if don't mind traditionally songs, but if they are speaking in english, they need to speak proper english. unless if they are making music for only people in liberia.

  • No one said ya can not sing in LIB English.but speak regular English to people can understand you.

  • @LuckyRiita Almost all Hip Hop songs are in Ebonics, which qualifies as African-American Pidgin English. Have you heard any popular Nigerian song? Most of their songs are in Nigerian Pidgin English. Liberians speak Pidgin English to communicate with one another because there are too many indigenous languages that everyone cannot learn. I'm a Liberian and I understand the song very well. There is pride in singing in your local vernacular, so they don't have to sing in "regular" English.

  • OK people, y'all need to understand that there's a big difference between English as we know it and Liberian Pidgin English. I speak both very fluently. Almost all Liberians know how to speak Liberian Pidgin English. But those with at least a high school education also know how to speak proper English. This is a Liberian song and I understand the lyrics perfectly well. So what are people complaining about!!!

  • Weak a555 shit!! check out real lib music loook up deron g

  • This is the funniest song ever!!!

  • wow, Afromusic1, i love this song. thanks foe posting. english is a borrow language all around the world. every country is proud of their own version and so are liberians. we have to be ourselves and anyone who want to understand this song must understand it our way.

  • @miseva2 I definitely agree with you. The funny thing about some of us is that we want our artists to sing in standard english but yet and still we listen to Nigerian music. We all know that most Nigerians sing in their pidgin. The question is how do these people understand that. If they enjoy the nigerian music that they do not understand, what about their own. We need to start support our own artists.

  • this is one of the funniest song i've ever heard. go L.I.B

  • complete nonsense look at this ma man u na ma friend..............

  • Comment removed

  • haha, dey people say i'm broke, i eating cold bowl, lol, i like dat, L.I.B FOR LIFE

  • A wanna be fiffty cent and the guy at 2:00 is a waanna be fagget ass will smith

  • one man one cup and i aint got noboday livin' abroad lol... i like that

  • actually am a nigerian...and i av lived it d states 4 a long tyme now...and i still love my country music and movies..i dnt care much abt d states movies or music.....and i thnk u guy shld do the same tooo.........for me am a PROUDLY AFRICAN ..

  • yah keep speakin de kolokwa ye? it now a lib thing, it testifies how lib ppl always make up own things... to me kolokwa is de same as pride... it show how lib ppl r truly strong ppl!!!!

  • Liberia stand up. check out my Video bout my homeland called "windows of my soul" and make sure to google "tbl-ent" to get with the movement of the new super group. C.i.u, Tre-Doh N.i.k.k.i. da Jukebox and Phoenix the firestarter. we are Project TBL

  • "... After wuhkuhbuh I can ea' lek greelayguh..." LOL!!!

  • this is no nonsense key! this is the very truth. Do u think we can make it international with a song like this? and besides, i can sing well. I sing for my church sometimes. we have a liberian praise and worship team in my church and we sing most of the time in ENGLISH! and the white people seems to like it.

  • I see, u sing for the white people, if the white people like it, it's ok with u....good for u, but we sing for Lib people n African people. so go ahead.... do your white people music one man one cup

  • @afromusic1 that doesn't mean that i want to sing for white people. i sing for anyone i want to. the reason why liberia is so backward is because we can't adapt to pop culture. we have to look at things from a different angles. continuening to live like that we will always remain backward and not being notice. this music would be much much better than it is if only they had good english. what about the "liberian gir"l music video? now that is good english!

  • @afromusic1 btw don't say we sing for african people, because other african countires don't understand what the heck they're saying. lets just say liberian, cuz they are the only one who seems to understand. is not a bad thing singing for LIB people. but they should just make their english clear and other people will enjoy it too. i love LIb traditional song, but this song id not traditinal song.

  • @joceylnne It wouldnt b hip-co now would it? if they change the tongue 2 ur bs American english...or watever. if iu wanna listen 2 ur so-called clear english music u r wlcm 2 do so. Liberians dnt have 2 change in2 sumthing we r not...just 4r ppl 2 like us. we will keep singing in our LIB-English...if u dnt like it, dat's ur dame business!!!!

  • Jocel, Music is not about english there are lot Internationally Known African Musician that sing in african languages and they are more known than any English African singer. If you want i can list a few.

Your problem is a Liberian problem, we being ourselves. i want you to understand that there is a Liberian english unique, so we don't to speak like anybody to be accepted.

    thanks

  • @afromusic1 Joceylnne may beright... but you saying "white people like your music" dont make nay sense to me. I know many born American musician that whte people dont like, but they are or were well famous and prosperous. So the whole thing is sing good music, and i gurantee you will receive fame you deserve, if fame among God plan for you.

  • @joceylnne so you think the white man is better than you? wow! well good for you! but i believe these guys are not singing for the "white man" they are singing for their Liberian pepo! And if you don't like it, go Sleep!

  • i'm a liberain. this song is funny and all that but i believe we can do better than this. i know there good artist out there. if we want to make our music international we've got to start speaking good english. our goal is to proof to the other countries that liberian are veryy good at singing. we can't get anywhere with a song like this. cuz not everyone will understands it, except liberains.

  • my jocey what's your real english we have to learn.SinceSYou know how to speak english can u sing one song for us. nonesense.

  • @joceylnne Music is not particularly about understanding lyrics. It's about liking the rhythm. I listen to various genres of music in different langauges and like them very much.

  • @joceylnne It's ppll like u...ppl who r ashame of themselves dat make Liberian music 2 not prosper. We dnt have 2 sound like other 2 b gud. b proud of who u r and play ur Liberian english/music and dont care wat others think.

  • @joceylnne man from wat u r say'n sounds 2 me ur 1 dat look down on ur own heritage. even in da US african american have their own broken english n dont care who understands. If u treat ur heritage with respect than others will. in da nigerian song title ''do me''. da artist said if u do me i do u ''man norko vesk'' is dat ur normal english. Lib has a serious ID problem n ur 1 of those creating this problem. I hope da holy spirit come upon u n teach u self identity.

  • @joceylnne I agree with increasing the quality but i also think that Liberia should not sell out on its language. Nobody complains about jamaicans singing/rapping in Patua. I think we need to mix the flavours.

  • @joceylnne how many ppl can understand da jamican english, go figure.

  • i'm a liberian. this music is funnay and all that but do u think is going to go international? even if it did is not going to be that popluar i think just for liberians. these artist need to start speaking good english. our goal is to get notice and put countries like ghana down. We can't get notice with a song like this.
