This first exercise, work out your rear delt and your upper back mate, nothing to do with V shape, the V shape comes with mature lats and this doesn't exercise it, i think they're even called rear "delt" rows

But yes, the pull up should always if you can be one of your back exercises, it's that DADDY of them all!

your not using enough momentum to swing the dumbell up on the one arm row.(lol) just kidding, if you do them slow and controlled like you did in this video you'll feel the targeted muscle being used. great video btw

@vincent7125 well... u can try wide-grip pullups, barbell bentover rows(or with rod) & deadlifts & the lat pulldowns :D
and ya...u also need to have a healthy diet ;)
if ure a beginner ignore all of them and just concentrate on pull-ups :)

wide-grip pullups, is more on the upper lats not lower lats. Upper lats as a result V-shade, not copra shade.
