Matt smith is an excellent doctor, torched by his past but has a child-like wonder at the universe. I balled like a baby when tis happened! Excellent video

Sadly Matt smith cant do the same. He is just does not have that cool geeky look. But this is insane he was killed! And in america too. Great now unit is going to blame America!

@sillymike100 come one yes david was good but he had the worst companion ever donna and 70 percent of his stories were complete rubbish ala russel t davies he was worse than collin bakers story writer and david made them watchable but his portrail was mrsadsackemowahwahcrysorryblah­blah didnt cut it for me i dont hate david tennats doctor i never missed an episode in his tenure but i belive what moffat has done is magic for the show and that mats doctor is more alien

@sillymike100 dude just leave it, I don't know why but it really irritates me when I see comments saying Matt Smith cannot live up to Davids standards. You're just not giving him a chance, Matt Smith is way better than David. He is more alien-like and mad just what the doctor needs to be. David's doctor was too emotional....

@AStickManProductions I agree, after Rose left the series it felt the Doctor was becoming too angsty, but some of the storylines from RTD didn't help either. Matt is a completely different kettle of fish, its like comparing Tom Baker and William Hartnall, two different leagues
