Just bought a 600D and I just can't wait to receive it.

It's taken me two months of solid researching and experiencing first-hand many different DSLRs out there. I've tried and tested the 550D, 1100D, 600D amongst the Nikon D3100, D5000, D5100, D90...

...and nothing, in my opinion came close to the 600D in terms of feel, quality, menu structure and ease of use.

I also own a Minolta film SLR but I still consider myself to be a beginner. It's amazing what possibilities are available to me now.

I love the use of flash at 1:57 and the onscreen feature guide...I am still having difficulty choosing the appropriate modes to capture the right shot...

@facepalm3000 if it's the video mode you're after, then they both offer the same things. But the 600D clinches it for me with that epic rotating screen. It's so USEFUL ;)

"Your EOS adventure starts here." -True statement. What has costed me $1000 on my first EOS purchase last year (550D kit I at launch day), has grown to be almost $8000 now: 7D and a bunch of lenses--including two L's--with some accessories. Way to go Canon!

Though, what makes me wonder about this would be Nikon's response - namely, the SUCCESSOR of the D5000 - it too, has an articulated screen. Anyway, yummy camera, the 600D looks great.

Yes, the recent Pentax cameras have gotten great reviews. Very innovative. Honestly, the new budget Canon DSLR looks like a piece of garbage to me. They have cut far too many corners. Cheap, cheap, cheap!

Canon is already almost close to releasing new upgrades for their entry level models? They look like the 60D but smaller. they do look cool but I own the 7D so I don't need them.
