@darknessthehedgehog3 Dry out your eyes with a tissue and apply oil to the eyelids only following instruction in the video. Only a fraction of drop is needed. Do not need to apply oil in the eye. Good luck. I know how irritating it is to have watery eye especially when it itches.

I use honey, and its a delicious too. How it works is when you add honey to hot water mix it up and drink it, your body will be immune to all the pollin and nector of the flower that it comes from. I drink wild flower honey everyday and it works.

This is good with most oil, olive (not virgin it contains some juice), seed oil like sesame, sunflower, but not rape or canola. You use very small amount not more than 1/2 drop each time so it will not disrupt the cells and membrane protecting your capillaries in your nose. Wax and Vaseline work.

Hi, thanks for this, i can test it right away which is good :) Where i live the pollen ranges in concentration quite a lot, if the concentration is very high, do you think i should also take medication at the same time, also does this give you nose bleeds, because last year i tried a prescription nasal spray that after a couple of months use caused me to have nose bleeds, thanks a lot for this :D

@EZbakeROFLcakes You can use almost any oil. The best ones are seed oil, sesame or sunflower. Do not use rape seed oil or canola oil. They contain a irritating protein. Purified olive oil is good. Virgin olive oil contain some juice that will irritate your nose. You use so little amount each time less than 1/2 drop so it will not disrupt the cell membrane that protect your capillaries in your nose. You will not have bloody nose. Drink lots of water a wet nasal membrane is important.

@EZbakeROFLcakes You can use this with any medication. This method only block the reaction in the nose. There are other areas that pollen antigens will react such as stomach. You may get improved result with antihistamine with this method. There should be no interaction with other medication using oil. I prefer not to use medication because they interfere with the function of your immune system.

@GHUMMANJAT If you try the method I told you and it does not work. The problem is not allergy due to flower pollens. Chemical allergy may be the problem. You must find out what chemicals cause this and avoid them.

the readson why you get a blocked nose due to hay fever is that the pollen goes into your nose and triggers stimulation of your tube leading from the top of your nose into your mouth so the oil will trap the pollen and break it down in simple terms

This really works. There is "hay max" in the shops which cost 6pounds and does the same job. I'm using pure, cheap VASELINE

@tytus777 Beware of the residual PAH in petroleum products. This is why organic vegetable oil is safer. Make sure it is truly organic.

using tissue paper 2 dry the inside of your nose is not good if u do it in the light you see lots off tissue paper dust wich makes it worse so maybe something that does not give off any tiny dust particles would be good

Some brands are good with no particles and no polymer coating. Try Scotties.

I do this with vicks vapo rub and it's much more effective for a home remedy...

Another tip of mine is get an ice-cube and leave it in your mouth, don't worry about how cold it is you'll get used to it. Try to put it to the roof of your mouth this will numb your nasal so you won't feel that tingly feeling inside. Temporary relief but it works.

If your hay fever is that bad go to the pharmacy and buy a proper anti histamine like zyrtec, claratine, or beconaise... not veg oil!

I tried the antihistamines and they made me sleepy or moody. Vicks Vapor rub has Vaseline as a base and that is the reason why it works on hay fever. Any lip balm on sale works. All they have in common is the ability to form a barrier to water on the surface of your cells. My painter had taken a high dose of antihistamine and his nose was still stuffed up until he tried this method. Hay fever is such a terrible chronic inconvenience in our life. This will help make it easier to live with.
