I don't know too much about this genre, but I am learning, particularly about the subtle nuances between ambient, techno, dub etc. Love all the background music in your videos. Well done! I will be delving deeper with Rod and Steven on You Tube. Thanks!
I have no knowledge at all in the techno/ambient/dub/trance music scene but have been enjoying every single video of yours . If you were to suggest 1 or 2 records for me to explore this scene , what would you suggest ? or what should i start with ? thanks.
@Mr666skulls That's a hard question because it's different for everyone, but I'd go with "Dubnobasswithmyheadman" by Underworld, "Liumin" by Echospace, or "Las Vegas" by Burger/Ink, those three are classics as far as I'm concerned, and may be good ones to try.
Are you always calm? You seem very zen. Anyway, another great video. Seriously, I hate to pick faves but you're one of my faves within our great "vinyl community." I always learn so much about interesting bands I had heard of but didn't know about or hadn't heard of at all. One unfortunate thing about Echospace is that a lot of the vinyl is hard to find or fairly expensive. I've noticed that a lot with dub-techno. Still on my wish lists.
@dvdude30 *blushes* haha, yeah I am just about always calm, I was really interested in Buddhism for a long time, and sometimes think of myself a bit like a monk. It's true that a lot of it is expensive, but not all of it, it just takes some looking around, and it's well worth it when you love it as much as I do.
Cool stuff. Thanks for putting it on my radar!

@mgfoster Calm is cool. I wish I could calm myself. But I think I have ADHD.
