  • Paul has called for passage of tax relief bills to reduce health care costs for families

He would support a tax credit for senior citizens who need to pay for costly prescription drugs

He would also allow them to import drugs from other countries at lower prices

He has called for health savings accounts that allow for tax-free savings to be used to pay for prescriptions

Paul believes that the more government interferes in medicine, the higher prices rise and the less efficient care becomes

  • Obamacare is unconstitutional for a start.

The Government can't make you buy a Chevrolet if you want a Ford

    or vise-versa.

Let We the People choose our own healthcare.

  • I don't know if he support Senior and disable people on Social Security and medicare? Because he is republican

  • @ASLforever100 He's against social security philosphically but has stated repeatedly that's the last thing he wants to cut when he becomes president. Those people receiving benefits paid into the system so those obligations should be honored. Ironically RP's cost cutting in defense and government waste would be the only way to keep SS and Medicare affordable. He also wants to provide young people an option to opt out, which is great.

  • @PJCelis Damn ! Sorry PJ , Open cyber mouth and insert foot. ASL < American Sigh Language My bad. RP is a good man. People say when he was practicing medicine he would not take Medicare or Medicaid. They did not add that he treated them for FREE ! I'm 63 and I have followed RP for quite some time. He is the ONLY Congressmen who is worth a damn. The balance are rat bastards who could care less about you or America. THAT IS A FACT JP

    Cheers.

  • @PJCelis Are you sure? Who told you that He is against Social Security?

  • @PJCelis Are you sure? Who told you that He is against Social Security? He want to End Federal Reserve.

  • @ASLforever100 He's a libertarian (anarcho-capitalist in fact) so yes he believes private charity (churches, ...) should take care of the caring for the elderly and those in need. If you go to my channel there are quite a few Ron Paul videos in my list of favorites. Ron Paul often has philosophical discussions on "Freedom Watch", a show on Fox Business Channel with Andrew Napolitano. You can youtube search for those too.

  • @ASLforever100 I am not being rude or mean. I am simply curious, Is English your first language ? Thanks

  • @SethVandenberg yes, I born USA. Yes, I write in English. Million American people did not finish high school. Like me.

  • i love you man ! fuckin love you ddue!!!!

  • Okay, so what's his stance on healthcare? The ad just stated the current issues with the healthcare system, but never actually tells you what the candidate's views are. Fail ad.

  • @Arkblu You got 26 seconds... you think they could actually fit...

in 1942 the government forced employers to provide health insurance to their employees when it established the Wage Stabilization Act. Since then, as health care became much much more accessible to millions of people, demand of health care skyrocketed and thus so did price. This in turn makes it harder for people without insurance to pay. We need to respect the 10th amendment which states that the State gov'ts are the only...

  • ... gov't that are allowed to spend money on things of this nature by decree of the constitution. It is well documented that when economic choices are decentralized as much as possible that people are happier with what they get - thus we need less centralization. Also, health care in this country is over regulated to the point of hopelessness - we need all of your states to nullify these idiotic laws. Nullification is the idea that a state gov't can choose to ignore a federal law if, in its...

  • ... opinion, the fed gov't has overstepped its boundaries. This idea was strongly encouraged by Thomas Jefferson.

    ... and on and on

It might just be easier to say that Ron Paul has a fantastic idea for health care, and that you could read about it on his website (which, albeit, they didn't say)

  • And unlike obamanation, he actually has military experience.

Kind of help your credibility as commander in chief.

  • I'm not gay, but if Ron needs me to suck his dick, I totally would.

    Go Ron!

  • You're nasty, don't speak again.

  • m wooow im naked right now! 7

  • We are cheap and hard working

  • Sad Sad Ending, lol

  • If the people pushing socialized medicine really cared about "helping the poor", they would send the money to the 3rd world and help far more people. But in reality socialized medicine is not about helping the poor but about stealing from "someone else" and giving to ME.

  • "If the people pushing socialized medicine really cared about "helping the poor", they would send the money to the 3rd world and help far more people." - lorax2013

Before you claim to be that sure about how much people care about ideas, how about you take into account that "sending money to 3rd world countries" isn't necessarily going to help the people there? First off, in many of those places government corruption would prevent the money from even getting to the people in the first place...

  • "Socialized Medicine" is about giving to others so YOU have to spend less on Healthcare.

  • You're confusing charity with socialism. Socialism is forced appropriation to create a national credit card of sorts that works until the country can no longer repay its debts. Our desire for health coverage is unlimited, but our productive capacity to finance it is not. That is why prices are so high and quality so poor in government models. If it's just a national credit card whose compounding interest we finance with taxes, what's stopping a servicer from charging as much as he can?

  • Socialized medicine is about letting some twat in DC decide who is going to get the money that they took from you at gun point.

If YOU actually WANT to give people money, then fucking do it! Don't cram it down everyone else's throats with an Unconstitutional law.

There's a reason why Doctors have the hippocratic oath: they must help patients even if they aren't being paid to do so.

    Socialized anything = fail

  • I don't want to give anyone money. I'm just pointing out the fact that the healthier everyone else is, the less likely it is for you to have bad health (I'm strictly talking about infectious diseases). I'm not even proposing universal healthcare as a solution.

I wouldn't give a fuck about society's health if it wasn't for the fact that it affects me economically and healthwise.

Look up America's life expectancy or % of people with an STD and compare it to an European country.

  • the problem with life expectancy is that it doesn't really tell you how the people are dying. we could claim that it's from disease, but it might also be from murders and other violent things. i.e. gang violence killing people when they're 18. lots of deaths at 18 really brings down the average.

  • except for schools

  • very well put

  • omg, so many stupid people vote for the stereotypical americans. and women with the girlpower, ricki lake, oprah winfrey corny spririt wants to see a woman as the president of the US, so therefore they vote for hillary. i would like to see ron paul, hes atleast for real with his arguments. or barrack obama, hes real too, fuck what his preacher says, thats pretty insignificant. fucking mainstream media desives the people with bullshit. fucking gay ass unoriginal fucking smacktards...

  • Too bad Hobama is a gun grabbing nwo scum and a poseur, just like hitlery, I'm voting for ron paul.

  • It's funny this guy is talking about being "real with your arguments" and you seem incapable of elaborating a logical one.

  • The guys who kept Iraq Vets in moldy rat infested room were Republican Neo-Cons. The Neo-Cons intentionally do a poor job governing to justify their ideological desire to deregulate & steal money.

Bad government is bad, good government is good & no government is Afghanistan. Do you want to live in Afghanistan?

I support Ron Paul's amazing integrity, patriotism & his criticism of corporations and imperialism. But the only way to curb corporate power is through intelligent evolved regulation.

  • Any one that know ANYTHING knows that The Federal Reserve System is WRONG! Oh and has anyone explained building 7 yet? What was in building 7 anyways? go and find out for yourself. Its not hard. :-D

  • I'm from Australia, and he's the only beacon I see shining out of your electoral glum.

This country is liable to prove to the world either how dumb, or how control it is, by burying honor and electing a marginalized demographic mouthpiece. Could it be that black women have never been more empowered at the booth?

Black man or white woman. Choose your gimmick.

  • Hzgi you are sooo correct. I proudly voted for Ron Paul today! Ron Paul 2008! Hope for America!

  • You voted for Ron Paul? How did that go-- did he win?

  • Just a clarification its not just Canadians who love Dr Paul, Google it , people its the world,

Your time for change is now, and if your not convinced try a leep of faith that things can get better, Honestly Ron Paul is not owned, And many Canadians will defend him if they try to pull off that JFK shit by makeing a move on him.

  • I had to laugh someone down on this page said socializm,

Police anyone in the room private or public?

if you said puplic then your a socialist,

If you said puplic or private companys for water pureity?? again you would want to know and vote public, you see alot of whacos like to toss out venue words like socialist, not knowing what they are saying, Social is by the people morons its like that very first time the doctor sticks a needle in you saying its approoved by the goverment,.

  • You dont think competition to provide clean water would make purity go up if water was private? Look as poland spring or dasani... The free market really does have an answer for everything.

  • I'm a proud member of the $2300 club... ARE YOU? Give today! MLK money bomb 21 Jan!

  • I watched the ad because I'm genuinely interested in Congressman Paul's stance on this. I couldn't tell heads from tails what his plan was. "He's a doctor. He's seen it all," may be true, but it doesn't say anything about his plan!!! I get that he's not for nationalized health care, but if he's not for "corporate health care" than what is he for... who runs the system if not the corporations under the Paul plan?

  • You sound like you have a midget testicles. Ron Paul would put you to shame in the balls department. He has cajones the size of Mt. Rushmore.

  • Ron Paul is a pretty smart guy by my estimation. Even when I don't agree with him I mostly understand his viewpoints and can at least respect them, unlike the current Republican administration.

  • ROFL...Looks like an ad from Robocop film

I'd buy that for a dollar!!!

  • ROTFLMAO!! This little 2-post conversation sounds like something a writer would put in a sitcom!!

The endgame of the Council On Foreign Relations and similar Rockefeller\globalist organizations manipulated by the "elite" is to implement a NEW WORLD ORDER agenda of one world government, one world bank, one world money system, one world military dictatorship under the absolute control of a marshal law police state, and has been for decades.

  • All that will do is have us running from state to state for health care instead of to Canada and Cuba. We need to learn from our supposed allies... Socialized Medicine! The Libertarian mindset is good for some things, but not everything.

  • Fuck You!

  • That's a really intelligent and thought provoking rebuttal, you fucking Libertarian, Social Darwinist cocksucker. I'm glad that Ron Paul doesn't have a chance in the primaries. If Dr. Ron Paul had his druthers, he'd privatize all of our nations institutions, from health care to education. Don't tell me that wouldn't benefit big business.

  • You prefer big government?

Ron Paul will end the Fed Reserve...the head of the snake.

You probably think the fed is good for America though, being the moron that you are.

  • What snake? I suggest you take whatever you saw on Zeitgeist with a grain of salt. Getting rid of the Federal Reserve would put absolute power in the hands of the bankers. Besides, Ron Paul would never be able to do that. Something like that would take an act of Congress, and they would laugh his ass out of the Capital Building.

  • Absolute power is already in the hands of the bankers! The Fed is a bank...

  • Ron Paul will save this country

  • Good luck, boys. American politics is a fixed show, and if Paul is as serious as he's coming off, rest assured that he won't get anywhere NEAR the presidency. The groups controlling this country have a vested interest in keeping it in a perpetual state of Corporate Feudalism; no matter how many "money bombs" blow up this year, he won't make it. Democracy invariably destroys itself.

  • Unfortunately, you are correct about RP not becoming President. Why do you believe democracy destroys itself? That is a very limiting statement about people. Do you have any better ideas? BTW this is NOT an attack on you...just intelligent discussion.

  • Yeah, nah.

You know what the problem with America is?

    Americans.

Your country is screwed because majority (and corruption) rules, and the majority are imbeciles. You have one of the most flagrantly ignorant and flippant populouses in the civilised world. Most of you will vote for a shallow demographic reason, instead of substance and policy.

If this race was down to policy and debating ability, Billary wouldn't even be on the ballot. But she'll probably make the White House. Go USA

  • Everyone, let's bombard CNN to air Ron Paul's speech he will be giving during Fox's attempt to censor him!

  • Ron Pauls plan for Healthcare works as long as you can afford the huge medical bills yourself...

  • That is what insurance is for, not government. Healthcare would be drastically cheaper in a free market society. It's been proven historically and is a fact.

  • Where has this been Proven? I am an RN trained in Canada, who is now working in the USA. I get paid LESS in the USA-and the patient gets charged more (5-6 times more)...so where are your FACTS!!!

  • You have to think like Dr. Ron Paul. How best to incorporate the Constitution in current Washington climate. He could immediately ask congress to make ALL medical costs tax deductible. Absolutely no liberals have ever thought that.. bunch of fakes show true power grabbing money grubbing colors.

  • the money you would save with out an income tax would be 6 to 10 times what decent insurance would cost

  • The Media(RUPERT MURDOCH OWNS IT-He is an Australian)Has done a total Black out on RPaul. They don't even mention his name,They say we will waste our vote if we vote for him__I can't think of anyone else I would Like to waste my vote on More_RON PAUL 2008.ASK YOURSELF-HOW DO YOU LIKE TAXATION WITH REPRESENTATION?

  • Lyndon LaRouche is the only one who knows what to do now to protect the General welfare.

The "Homeowners and Bank Protection Act of 2007" Listen to laRouche folks, he is right!

  • Welfare is a fraud. The rich don't actually pay for the welfare, you do. If you attempt to tax the rich, they will just raise prices to compensate for the loss in income. And now that they have raised their prices..who is really paying the taxes? You are! The poor and the middle class are paying the taxes, not the rich. There is no such thing as "free" healthcare.

  • Not to mention the fact that the rich know that the income tax is a voluntary tax and the IRS only comes for the poor because they are the obedient ones and they only want to stay out of trouble, so they are the ones that comply.

  • consumption taxes like the "fair tax" and the "flat tax" can ensure everyone pays and doesn't slip through the cracks. people shouldn't be penalized for saving or earning more. overtime right now is hardly worth it. people need to look up these tax ideas. the flat tax is working amazingly well in the former soviet states and eastern europe of all places.

  • The worst ad ever made. What exactly is the health care plan Ron?...Thats right there isnt one, hope you're rich!!!

  • You don't need to be rich to pay for health care if we get rid frivilous lawsuits, people abusing the emergency rooms, government overregulation, and maybe be a little more charitable to hospitals that run on charity. These ideas have worked in the past.

  • 100 percent correct.

  • Thomas Jefferson wrote: "The Central Bank is an institution of the most deadly hostility existing against the principles and form of our Constitution...if the American people allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

  • good ad!

  • WE have to be very concerned about the computer

vote fraud. We all know Ron Paul is really leading in the polls, the pollsters cheat!!!! They are planning vote fraud with the diebold machines counting the vote!!!!!!

  • I agree. People need to watch "Hacking the Vote" to see how it is done.

  • Lol...Here we go! Ron is an internet fruitloop & his turn out in Iowa proves it but to Ron followers of course this was a conspiracy to keep Ron down. The only bad part about Ron eventually losing will be that folks will have to hear about conspiracy theories for years after the presidental elections by internet Ron crazies! It almost makes me wish Ron would win. Almost!

  • That's awesome. Give people and business owners their right to enforce property. Do you realize that private institutes hired black chemists in the days of Jim Crow and public ones didn't? Now public ones hire more than necessary because of AA. The free market doesn't discriminate. Legislation calls for questionable actions to avoid lawsuits.

  • dabigkid - look at yourself man, you're sitting here arguing in favor of segregation. Christ, look how low Ron Paul has made you, would you call this "Rock Bottom"?

Let's hear it, let's hear how you are oppressed as a white man and all your personal failings are because of Affirmative Action...

  • Ron Paul didn't make me like this. I was libertarian prior to Paul's campaign. Secondly, that argument is a straw man. I don't think segregation is good, I think taking away property rights is bad. Your last argument assumes that affirmative action can be just so long as it doesn't account to "all [my] personal failings." Straw man. Affirmative action is government mandated discrimination that's inherently prejudicial of both minority employees and majority employers; that's why I hate it.

  • dabigkid - AA is debatable, my personal beliefs are that AA was appropriate in the early 70s because the minority workforce attended segregated schools, which were very poor, and in 2007 I don't believe AA is necessary anymore. Segregation is NOT debatable, it's NOT supported by either party, and the more you argue in favor of legalizing it the more you make Ron Paul look like a fool.

  • At this point, the only question left is, what are the people going to do when millions of us vote for Paul, and it doesn't show up at the polls and on tv? That's what i'm waiting to see.

  • that is a great question. what are we willing to do?

  • Revolution.

  • I hate to sound cold but the world is about survival of the fittest- the reason we have so many sick people is because we didn't have the means and drugs in the past to keep people alive. I'm all for saving lives, but is it right to prolong a person's suffering and go against nature?

  • I'm familiar with that argument, but to be honest, is it ethical? If you support a darwinian type culture (i.e. where the strong survive and the weak die), is that really ethical? And what if someone, like in Africa, is born into a poor, starved area and never had the chance to become strong and healthy? You have to ask yourself, is that really ethical?

  • I definitely understand what you're saying. I fully support helping third world countries. I think that in developed nations, especially America, we should concentrate more on preventing certain health issues (heart attacks, emphysema, osteoperosis) rather than finding solutions to something that could have easily been prevented.

  • I'm sorry I wasn't clear with my comment- I didn't mean to say that no one should be treated with medicine. There are so many people with unpreventable disorders and diseases that are able to live normal lives because of our advanced medical techniques, and I am extremely grateful for that. I believe it's the preventable diseases and health problems that we should crack down on.

  • If we all shared our food, we wouldn't be sick.

We need food more than medicine.

Medicine does not figure in Evolution nor divine creation.

  • Germs are primarily spread via close contact, and especially through food. I don't know where you heard sharing food prevented sickness, but it isn't correct. It is true that you need food more than medicine. Food helps you live and correct food will help you live longer. However medicine will help you live longer as well, which is why they are both a necessity.

  • Germs can make you sick but medicine can kill. Have you ever heard of Viox? Many other medicines can shorten your life as well. Perhaps you should do more research about this.

Eat well and have faith in your immune system.

  • The vast majority of medicine helps you more than it harms you. Only through stupidity would medicine harm you (i.e. overdose, or taking it out of pleasure).

  • (Average 1982-1998): approximately 32,000 hospitalized patients (and possibly as many as 106,000) in the USA die each year because of adverse reactions to their prescribed medications.

~Source:"Incidence of adverse drug reactions in hospitalized patients: a meta-analysis of prospective studies," Journal of the American Medical Association (Chicago, IL: American Medical Association, 1998), 1998;279:1200-1205,

  • I notice you didn't provide a statistic which shows the amount of people medicine has saved/allowed to live many years past their expected life time.

  • It's up to you to show that. I've provided stats that support my theory that medicine is one of the biggest killers. It's up to you give us some evidence to support your theory that it saves more lives. Personally, I don't believe you or your medical religion.

  • Why don't we target the cause of the great need for health care- in other words, we need to change America's eating, exercise, and lifestyle habits. If people lead healthier life styles then we won't need to be so dependent on health care.

  • universal healthcare equals government control. a perfectly terrible equation.

  • Be for real. The police and firemen are socialized, so is that terrible!?? Ron Paul's on point on every topic but this one. He's suffering from a conflict of interest. He 'is' a doctor, so he rathers the opportunity to make millions instead of hundreds of thousands. Imagine if you had to pay the police every time the responded to your concerns!?

  • You don't have a clue what your talking about. Having a private family doctor is no where near the same as police or firemen. The millions currently go to insurance companies, and not the ones your thinking of. The insurance companies that provide the malpractice insurance to the doctors.

Most doctors cant afford to operate an office due to the steep fees they must pay because of sue-happy idiots getting millions of dollars from bogus cases.

  • And another thing police and firemen are controlled at a local level. If my doctor was contracted by the city or county in which I lived then that would be one thing, like my police officers and firemen are. I can vote for the chief of police and the fire commissioners, give me the ability to vote for who runs my local hospital and you might have a program I would be interested in hearing more about.

  • So you'd rather a situation like our education system where many school are under financed simply because of the 'local area' they are in?? Be real. Health care should be of the same quality no matter if you're in Orange County, California or New Orleans, Louisiana.

  • I think themcfann summed it up best. Socialized healthcare is a bad idea. And that's a really bad analogy. The firemen and police are socialized because, like themcfann said, they work at a community level. Oh, and I'm assuming that you have seen 'Sicko' and that movie is propaganda (definition: presenting one side and blatantly supporting it without revealing the other in support of a personal agenda). Mikey Moore probably isn't the best source for learning about a clearly flawed system.

  • To answer your question yes I have seen the movie, but anyone educated would have known the information in the movie prior to seeing it, such as I. The problem is we as Americans always think we're right. Hate all you want, but other countries provide health care better to their citizens than the USA, case closed.

  • excerpt from ronpaultvchanneldotcom

    " FIRST THERE WAS NOV 5TH ...

NEXT THERE WAS THE BLIMP ...

THEN THERE WAS DEC 16TH ...

NOW WE HAVE RON PAUL RADIO ...

ALL OF THESE WERE GREAT IDEAS

BUT ALTHOUGH THESE IDEAS WERE GREAT IN AND OF THEMSELVES, THEY AREN'T GETTING THE TV AIRTIME THEY DESERVE ...

NOW AT THIS JUNCTURE WE NEED A NEW IDEA ... "

  • This is no different from the "Woo-hoo! Go Hillary!" comments someone just complained about on Hillary's blogs. I have a brain, which means *I haven't made up my mind yet!" It takes a lot more brains to look at the negative aspects of a candidate than to simply just on the bandwagon!!

  • So, if a person doesn't have property, does that mean they don't have free speech? Like, if the only place I can speak aloud anything that criticizes Dear Leader or his fanatic followers is my own land, and I don't OWN any land, then I guess I have to STFU? So much for free speech! I guess it's only free if you only say things RP supporters like!!

  • Healthcare IS a HUGE issue for millions of Americans who die because insurance companies won't pay for care, who suffer, die, or go into bankruptcy because of healthcare bills, who have to choose between buying medicine or food, etc. Getting rid of the IRS is the least of these peoples' worries when their kids are sick!! You must not live in the real world!

  • How long ago was that?? Was it before the Reagan Revolution, when greed & selfishness became "American values"? Come on, conservative economic policies have ALWAYS created more have-nots than haves, & have always taken from the have-nots (the working class) & given to the haves (the investment class). Give us some details on how your dad got taken care of, man! Most Libertarians don't appear to be as generous as Ron Paul. Who were these doctors & hospitals that gave your dad free care?

  • Greed and selfishness are traits of government and those who support government programs. Only government could break your leg and then hand you a crutch and say "see, without the government you couldn't walk!" Those who support government are filled with hate and greed towards those who love themselves and their families enough to provide a better and better life.

  • To suggest that Charles Dickens capitalism is the solution to the U.S. healthcare crisis is NOT a thoughtful position!! Furthermore, *I* am a thinking person, and I am not on the RP bandwagon. Every man for himself and trusting in profit-driven hospitals & private health insurance just because they are "free market" doesn't solve the health care problem for people who can't afford it!

  • So all of those doctors, hospitals, etc., would provide care for ANYONE for free?! That's GREAT!! I hate insurance companies & HMO's. From my experience, it's progressives that are providing free health care to those that can't afford it, not Libertarians. Do you think that if every hospital was a PRIVATE, PROFIT-DRIVEN hospital, that they would still provide care to everyone regardless of ability to pay?

  • Anti-establishment? And you think private insurance companies AREN'T the establishment? Not only that, but the whole reason they exist is to make a profit by taking your money and giving you back as little in return as possible, not to protect anyone's health. And they tell YOU what they will and won't pay for, so not any freedom there!

  • What makes you think the STATES would be so good at health care? IT'S STILL GOVERNMENT!! This "states' rights" argument is UN-American. RIGHTS BELONG TO PEOPLE, -- NOT TO THE STATE! The SIZE of the state doesn't matter, - if the state government has power over the people, then this so-called "freedom" that you think you will have is just a delusion!

  • i think i know what IPOMonster is saying. but, unfortuately he is just that... an IPOMonster. And so he'll vote for whoever promises the least ammount of change.

  • A message to Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel supporters: PLEASE JOIN FORCES!!!

Dennis Kucinich (2nd most popular on the net) and Mike Gravel's been endorsed by Ralph Nader.

Although they disagree on some issues they are the only three candidates that are honest by a long shot.

Don't be fooled by the Republican vs Democrat BS we are all Americans.

Please repost this on as many videos as you can and demand that Kucinich and Gravel support Dr. Paul.
