The idols they worship are simply avatars of God, but there is ultimately One God as well. I'm not Hindu myself, so I'm speaking from an unbiased point of view, but I think it's wrong to judge someone's faith, only God can do that. We as humans should stop pointing the finger at someone else. If he wasn't an actor would we care?

Taking part in any kind of religious celebration is haram in Islam. That even includes your own birthday, as it isnt a islamic act as mentioned in sahih Bukhari.
Modelling and acting is also haram. For women, AWRAH, covering herself is FARDH. I doubt models and actors covers themselves. Having physical contact with the opposite sex is also HARAM. The Prophet SAW even mentioned that you can commit Zinah with your eyes.

I'm not Hindu myself, so I'm speaking from an unbiased point of view, but I think it's wrong to judge someone's faith, only God can do that. @amrita0286 Muslims are forbidden from praying to any form of statutes, idols, pictures or paintings. this rule has nothing to do with hinduism, it pertains to pagan arabs, whose beliefs no longer exist or are practiced. walk into any mosque and you will not find a single statue, picture or painting in one, only calligraphy and design patterns thats it. he can pray however he likes, he just cant call himself a muslim while he does it till he reads the kalmas all over again.

Taking part in any kind of religious celebration is haram in Islam. That even includes your own birthday, as it isnt a islamic act as mentioned in sahih Bukhari.
Modelling and acting is also haram. For women, AWRAH, covering herself is FARDH. I doubt models and actors covers themselves. Having physical contact with the opposite sex is also HARAM. The Prophet SAW even mentioned that you can commit Zinah with your eyes.
