  • That was a disturbing picture at 0:49!

  • At least shes still teaching but not in a class roomm. (:

  • Great video for kids! Don't worry about the people criticizing; there's nothing wrong with trying to help people. Your effort is appreciated. I have a similar video on my channel if you wouldn't mind checking it out and letting me know what you think. I've added your video to my favorites as well :)

  • @NovusSecurity Your fire escape video is excellent. I've added it to both my favorites and my playlist and look forward to showing it to my grandson on his next visit.

  • @Grancie48 Thank you! Glad it could help

  • I actually sang a song similar to this the morning after a party to what I thought was a "hot girl" -_-

  • A birthday candle, a fire, u sometimes smell smoke if u got allot of them in the cake, if ur not alloud 2 blow the candles out then what happens to the wish u made?

  • Get OUT

  • That snog gives me nightmares

  • Get out Get out Get out Get out Get out Get out Get out Get out and don't burn.

  • You should have tried to add something about how firemen look with a mask on because if I was 5 even in a fire I'd run from a firefighter

  • @thehate448 This is an excellent point. I used to show my students a video of a firefighter putting on his equipment so they would know what it looks like. You're absolutely right that a firefighter with a gas mask on is very scary looking.

  • I like this song..is there a CD for your songs?

  • my 6 year old son says this vid is silly.i agree.get a life mrs

  • whats with replacing the spaces with periods?

  • @talentedshot1 I say your grammars and ettiquete are silly. Go to school and a counselor.

She took time to put this together for you guys. Regarding your child's opinions. You don't like it? Turn away.

  • @Zombieacropalyse etiquette* if you're gonna criticize someone's grammar at least use it correctly yourself.

  • Why are all you people hating on her? Shes trying to give an educational lesson for kids and there are some children who dont know much about safety because of IGNORANT parents. I am a kid so I should know.

Thank u for taking the time to put this together i acknowledge that.

  • @funnybunny1698 Thanks for the support.

  • Nice singing!

  • lol

  • i love the get out song so lol

  • i love the get out song so lol

  • get out get out hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahh i am 9 and i am alwalys scared if a fire will happen becuase my whole family smoke expect me and my sister and dad and i am only 9 am i think this is a greta song

  • lol this is what i am doing for school fire safety

  • haha I love this. I made a fire safety song too. I like yours better though.

  • okay that was weird but i showed my nephew then he wouldnt stop singing it lol its annoying he knows it of by heart

  • get out and grab the TV

  • I love your singing

  • Thank you. It's nice of you to say so.

  • I think it's great that you do this for your class. In mine (which im only in 6th grade, onth 7th), not very many other kids really knew about your other songs such as "Don't Ever Go With Strangers". Sort of made me sad.

  • I like how it says "don't put out the fire" and not "don't try to put out the fire"

  • This is hilarious.

  • ya we firefighters ask everbody who has kids listen to this song because it is very hard to find a small kid in a burning house i know from 2004 we had a big house fire and we almost lost a small kid

  • Thanks for confirming the need for children to get out. I would also urge parents to take their young child to a fire station where they could see a firefighter in an oxygen mask so that the child wouldn't try to avoid a firefighter during a fire because of his/her appearance with a mask on.

  • aww <:( is he ok?

  • yeah, right...

  • This is ridiculous. How stupid do you think kids are nowadays?

  • Young children often die in fires because they try to hide from smoke or flames. Ask any firefighter.

  • Well this would be better with an instrumental track.

  • Sorry, I deleted this comment by mistake:

The great thing about the video is that the song is easy to remember. Best advice for young kids is to get out, but before that they should actually yell "Fire" and try to summon an adult who can better judge the situation rather than just running out, but if alone, best to get out while yelling for help. Very creative song!

  • I'm not sure about advising them to summon an adult. You don't want to risk them roaming the house looking for an adult. They can always summon an adult once outside.

  • I feel like burning something after seeing this video...

  • Get some professional help, then. There is a solution to your problem.

  • why dont put out the fire then! are you just going to let the house burn down? fire extinguishers (and blankets) are not just there for decoration!

  • An adult may judge a fire small enough to attempt to put out, but a child should only be taught to get out and call for help. Often a child will hide under a bed or in a closet during a fire making it difficult for a firefighter to rescue him/her.

  • " Dont put the fire out!!.. GET OUT, GET OUT" Lol!

  • So Dont Try To Save your Valubles? And Cash? And Other Things U have in your

    house.....When U have a 5:00 Min Chance?To Save yout Things Lmao!

  • Yes, even adults need to remember that saving their lives is more important than saving anything in the house.

  • You do NOT have a 5 minute chance. You may have less than two minutes to get yourself to safety before the poisons in the smoke kill you. Learn the facts from fire safety educators. Remember, once a fire starts it may take the average smoke alarm a full minute to recognize the smoke. You've already lost that much time and don't even know there's a problem.

You are more important than your valuables or any keepsakes.

  • UR Right! i Agree, Thats right yeah save first ur cashes or u dont have money to pay all things!

  • this song is really creepy

every time they said "get out get out"

    jeez

  • Love the video! You are so right...young children should not put out any fire. They only put themselves at risk. "GET OUT"

let the fire department put it out. They are trained for many types of fires. So remember kids..."GET OUT."

Thank you Grancie48 for your message!

  • nice video i like your voice i will subscribe

  • Thank you very much.

  • great video

  • at 0:42 to 0:47 DON'T TEACH KIDS THAT!!!!

if the have one let them put it out! (unless its a big fire lol)

  • The advice to not put out the fire stands. Young children only risk making the fire bigger or setting themselves on fire.

Knowing how to use a fire extinguisher, how to distinguish a grease fire from other fires, etc, is not a task for young children. Their only job is to get out and let the adults decide what course of action to take.

Remember, this song was written for my kindergarten class.

  • Bravo. Thank you for doing so. As far as thehate448's comments go... some people will respond to video just because they can.

I appreciate your effort with this song.

  • these videos are so cool. i subscribed

  • Thank you for subscribing. I hope to "get on the ball" and get more of my teaching materials out. I never knew retirement could be so busy!
