we got to many selfish ppl in earth but guys we did not ask we want the global warming but look what we done ppl tought ages ago that forest never will vanish but ofc thats not true every secound we lose alot of tree's we dont have 30-40 years anymore like we had at year 1960 but ppl this is our only home only life we know but guys stop being lazy if you are and start eating healthy food move more use less car if its possible and eletric and plant alot of tree's thats not so much to ask is it?
If we are a human being with inteligence(?) we have the basic duty of care our Home, or we are worst concious in this planet, animals makes everything bettter. We just know how to make garbage, benerating trash, we dont know cleaning up and creating good smart well-being technology? Or we are stupids or we are using very bad our capabilities!!! It's an ethic issue, for sure!
I believe this movie and the initiative taken by DiCaprio, Conners along with WB, has come as an ideal example of true & real use of featured film media.
Besides with available & developing technologies its wiser to design, implement and evolve into comparatively simpler, better & progressive aspects of individual and collective lives.
Just because A happened before B does not mean A caused B. CO2 is lead by temperature, which is controlled mainly by fluctuations in the sun. Don't get me wrong, I am all for researching and applying alternative energy but until we find an efficient and cost-effective enough source, we need to stick to what we have now.
The way I see it is that yes, we need to take care of our environment and cut down on resource use and the like. However, this should be done in effective ways instead of taxing you for emitting 'greenhouse gases'. Do you know what one of the biggest emitters of CO2 is? The ocean. The ocean releases CO2 when it is hot, but absorbs it when it is cool. CO2 makes up a tiny percentage of all gases emitted from Earth, and man-made CO2 is an even smaller still percentage.
I am sick of hearing "humans caused global warming". If you research & weigh all the facts, it is very unlikely that we caused the warming of this planet. Using up resources such as fossil fuels and old growth forests ....YES. Producing ridiculous amounts of garbage and waste which could be recycled and re-used ....YES. Warming the entire vast Earth......NO WAY.
it just makes it worse when the people of the third world, who live a usually sustainable life because they have no choice, suffer from the devoloped countries greed, consumption of the earths resources and the aftermath of carbon emissions which are changing weather patterns and causing natural disasters.Even those who don't contribute to the mess feel the full effect of the consequence...we're really all in this together.
What is worse is when they suffer more by us hindering their development by using global warming as an excuse to keep them poor, oppressed and under developed; when all they want to do is grow as a nation like us
Planet Earth provides us with and endless number of substances including the most beautiful of all, life, and survival. Yet, humans are living in disharmony with mother nature. We should give back to mother nature by alternating our way of thinking and assessing our actions. Human beings should not only reflect about how we can increase our economy or how to acquire an easier way of life, because with a damaged, and depleted planet nothing can be possible. VIVA MEXICO!
The signs are everywhere, our planet is heating from every direction North Pole to South Pole, and everywhere in between. We are seeing the product of our actions today. The United States is a major contributor to the destruction that is present. Due to our everyday consumption and waste, we are depleting our planet Earth from its natural resources.
What a CROCK OF SHIT! I'm freezing my ass off here in sunny california. I guess Leo de craprio likes killing poor people, because that's exactly what he's doing when they outlaw efficient "dirty" energy, and poor people can't afford it. Leo = killing Africans, good job there Hitler!
people need to realize that we are screwing up the planet, this country is addicted to oil. What happens when the oil runs out? what happens when there is no clean water because factories keep dumping waste into the lakes.Extiction is a natural process, but are speeding that, by taking away natural habitat, by killing animals for fur, by taking too much out of the ocean. Without trees, the soil erodes and turns into a desert.
Man Made global warming is a lie. This is a tatic that is used by the leftist to brain wash our country into a soicalist state so they can control everyone and everything. They start by scaring the crap out of our children so that by the time they are voters, they will willing vote away all their rights and freedoms! The earth goes through cycles of warmness and cooling all the time. It is natural. Tell me, why is the glaciers melting on Mars, did your SUV cause it? No, it is the sun not GW.
regardless of what you believe causes GW we are depleting natural resources and destroying ecosystems, "there is enough for everyones need not everyones greed" (Ghandi said that) stop being so narrow minded cbugglin (i said that!). You are just reciprocating what you've heard the same as the rest of us, the fact is CO2 emissions are at their highest for 650,000yrs (380+ppm) we are contributing to this and speeding up a natural process, if you don't buy this then fine its your choice.
Whats Mars got to do with Earth? we have different atmospheres, and you can't prove that the sun is melting the glaciers there, can you?
25% of CO2 is produced heating and lighting your homes, insulate them properly and you will not only use less fossil fuels but in doing so save on your bills. Its just common sense. Insulation, solar hot water, and underfloor heating are the most energy efficient measures you can take in your home, i plead with all of you to investigate this further.
THANK YOU. Everything each one of us does adds up. OK, none of us is perfect--we're all implicated in this mess and we each have to take one step at a time. But change is speeding up, and your film is part of that crucial transition. Again, grateful thanks for working so hard to get it to the screens.
Take an example the amazon rainforest so full of plants and animals, and people are cutting down the trees and you want to know how much that's affecting the wildlife? ok well 10yr's ago there were 50,000 Bengal tigers in the jungle...and today there are only 500 left. Another example in the last 5yr's we've lost 3,000 types of frogs which is a BIG deal.
Because if DiCaprio says it...it MUST be true. Kind of like those Hollywood libs who drive around to political rallies in Priuses (is that correct spelling? LOL) and then hop on private jets that consume more fuel than my SUV does in 100,000 miles of driving!
Climate change skeptics make way more money than real scientists who say global warming needs action.

WHAT COOLING?
March was the HOTTEST March in the UAH 32 year satellite record.
UAH (Univ. of Alabama, Huntsville) is run by Dr. Christy, the well known AGW denier.
Global temperatures for February = 2nd WARMEST February in 32 years.
Global Temperatures for JANUARY = the HOTTEST January for UAH in 32 years.
LOL!!!
