Do you guys really think that planes like the 747 are able to land in snow? No way!. the runway needs to be clean for a safe and good landing.

Under certain circumstances there can be some snow on the runway. You must be able to define the marking though or see the lighting system. If your company guidelines say ou can do it and it is legal it is okay. Obviously a runway entirely contaminated is not ok but small snow drifts are acdeptable.

When i went to Wyoming in the winter there was a Big snow storm and it took 4 attempts to land & on 3rd attempt plane nearly crashed :( So scary,

NO, engines would not, they usually put them to idle reverse and 60 kts, but depends on conditions, I dont think they can be damaged at any speed (within reason, 400 kts maybe)
