where are the best locations to see these monsters waterfalls? also, how much energy do they require daily? What happens if there is a heatwave...should I turn off my air so the waterfalls keep running? At least the gates looked great when the snow was falling in a cold winter night.
How the heck is that some nice scenery! Is just steel bars pouring down water. They like spent 20 million dollars for steel bars with water pouring down for someone stupid to think its beautiful. I would rather decorate the boring steel bars!
G33ky, yes so do it! then it would be prettier! Also, for all the morons who are hating on nyc for this one...did u see the brooklyn bridge one? it's alot better than this one -=)
Better than the 3 other one. At least they should take down the other one but I like the brooklyn bridge waterfall. I cant do it but I would SUggesT them to decorate it. If they dont like to take the waterfall down, the can at least put it up at night. It doesnt look so spectacular at daytime except the brooklyn bridge.
i make a beautiful yellow waterfall everyday in my toilet, let me invite some tourists pay to see... next time create artwork that would be beneficial to the environment, and less distracting to the city hwy drivers!
This is almost has dumb as "The Gates" The Economy is suffering we may have to pay higher fares to ride public transportation but hey lets build giant waterfalls
The waterfalls were funded entirely by private donors through the public art fund and received no city funding. These will only stimulate the economy and are expected to generate 55 million.
You apparently: "This is almost has dumb as "The Gates" The Economy is suffering we may have to pay higher fares to ride public transportation but hey lets build giant waterfalls" And that was a response to a couple of other idiots whining about how these were made with tax payer's dollars when they were not and will only improve the NY economy.
Wow, childishness on a mammoth scale.

they light up at night, but only until 10:30pm. I think they should try colorful lights!
