This made me want to cry... Because, I understand from personal experience. My dad is gone and my mom is always depressed, she can't hold a job and can barely pay the bills (with family's help). She does however find joy in making fun of gay men and women.. But I haven't told her I'm a lesbian. And I'm so scared because she's strongly Christian too and might try to "cure" me, or she will tell me I'm going to hell. I don't know what to do. I'm even afraid God disaproves of me and will never help.
My daughter is gay and i'm proud of her regardless of her sexual prefernce it doesn't matter. My heart goes out to you my dear. I myself am a pagan and i will never understand the cruelty that some "christian" parents inflict on their children because they may not have the same beliefs. If there is a god he supposedly made us all and we are all different, why would he disaprove if it was he that made you the way are? Try not to be scared be strong.
well i agree that people who are gay dont need to be beaten senseless just because of who they are, god says you are supposed to love everyone no matter what. for he says the person you love the least is how far your love for god can go. so it wont be far if you dont love someone. but dont use that as an excuse. its your decision thought not Gods. but it is true about the high school thing some of this stuff really does happen! and it needs to stop before there is a nuclear war. or something.
