The way i did it thankfully to ps3. it would freeze (Kind of) when ever iwould fight the giant scorpion so i decide to continue to hitting, the cool park was that it stood still, it until i reached the 1000 hit mark. the funny part was that ididnt know there was an achiement for it lol.

I managed to do this by holding the buttons down the entire time. Very tedious and let's just say that I had to get creative whenever I got an itch somewhere on my body.

i got the trophie with a glith on the ice scorpion it only works in choas mode when its about to spit the babies out get behind it with the lion fists and hold L1+square time it right and the scorpion stays still

thanks, finally got plat...had 920 combo max legit and no more enemies came, so i was a little up set. but this method works 100 percent. i put a rubber band on the trigger, held down circle and watched 2 episodes of metalocalypse XD

i did it right after killing hades i held down L1 and keep tapping O then i got it in like 3 mins not 20 mins besides you might fall on this one but with claws hades you can kepp doing it untill you get 3000 combos or whatever you want besides you get 3 hits per combo using claws of hades but this way you get only 1 whick means you have to tap O for 1000 times

theres an easier way. right after you get the claws of hades and you go into the room to learn their special attack, use the grapple over and over. its easier than this because it's 3 hits per combo instead of one.

It's incredibly easy to get an infinitely large combo (2500 is as high as I went as it didn't give me any more past 2000) closer to the end of the game. When you're fighting the giant onyx covered scorpion, down him the first time, then let him get back up without doing anything, down him again, and kill all the small scorpions. He'll remain down forever, and you can hit him in the face to rack up a combo. Just use the whip and smack him for a while, easy, fast, points.

Okay so it looks like this was actually a glitch, which sucks, as now I have to restart the battle. Don't rely on this actually working.

So, the way that I got my 1000 combo pretty quickly was with the battle at the spartan gate. Just hole yourself up in a corner, pull out your claws of hades, and use L1 + O attack to pull souls out of the enemies. The souls and the attack will both cause knockback, and the attack itself can cancel the golden attack of the enemies.

Just tried this with latest update installed as of May 30th 2010 and it worked perfectly. Just get some sellotape ready and tape the L1 and O buttons down and it will soon hit the 1000 hit combo. Many thnaks for posting this video :-)

i did this acheivement when you go to the city of olympia using L1 and O using the claws of hades on the first enemies you encounteryou may have to dodge a bit but but you will get it - this move wont kill the enemy so just keep it up till you reach 1000 hits
