  • ok I'm going to settle this based on the music "the surfer song" that was also the main part of Tarintino's Pulp Fiction this is a reference to pulp fiction. It cannot be MIB (men in black) because space jam came out first. look it up. Not to mention the way they look at each other was the same way travolta and Samuel L Jackson did. any one still wanna argue or do you just want to shut up and enjoy the movie?

  • @Bahamute619 It's by Dick Dale, retard

  • No it's Men in Black >:|

Don't tell childhood me it's not, he'll punch you in the balls, then runaway!!

  • @bissoc14 space jam came out before men in black, a full year in fact.....lol but I still say it's men in black (go will smith and Tommy Lee!!!)

  • @bissoc14 I thought it was james bond!

  • man seeing sam and elmer together is very very rare! looney toons is the best!

  • HOLY CRAP I never even noticed that when I saw this movie as a kid, I had no idea what it was supposed to be!

  • @NPSurvival Haha! Me either, did they really expect kids to get a Tarantino reference?

  • @klapp08 I guess they threw it in there for the parents who took their kids to see it.

  • what's the song called?

  • @afruze14 Dick Dale and His Del Tones - Miserlou

  • @afruze14 Pump it - Black Eyed Peas

  • @dodgersfanjm no. it's Misirlou by Dick Dale.

  • never would have guessed that is was Pulp Fiction

  • Now put up the scene where Elmer shoots Marvin in the face.

  • my dad wrote this movie. i don't remember this part.

  • @StormofJade Likely story, wise guy.

  • @Demonkitsun i do not lie. and i can prove it. my name is alexandra rudnick. my dad's name is steve mark rudnick and his writing partner is leo benvenuti. my dad was a comedian for about 15 years ( the steve and leo show) and this was his first movie. since then he has written two other movies and various television shows that include: the santa clause (only the first one) and Kicking & screaming. my dad wrote this movie about a year before i was born. i never lie. and im a girl. not a guy.

  • @StormofJade Sounds like you copy pasted that from an article about Steve Mark Rudnick.

  • @Demonkitsun I didn't. I am writer too. And plus you won't find that info anywhere in the internet. trust me. i have tried. i know my dad. and plus i have been to the premiere of every movie of his except this one, so i have the excuse not to remember this part. we don't exactly watch the movies much anymore. i haven't seen Kicking & screaming in over three years and the Santa Clause in over four.

  • @StormofJade As far as I am concerned, it worries me that you need to prove to an anonymous person over the internet that your father was the one who raised you.

    THE TABLES HAVE TUUURNED!

    Anyway, chill lifestyle.

  • @StormofJade >I am writer

    No, sorry. Try again.

  • This is why I need to rewatch Space Jam, after having seen Pulp Fiction. This now makes perfect sense

  • Quite possibly the only part of the movie worth watching.

  • Fucking hell my internet is shit this took almost a minute to load.

  • lol

  • I remember when I saw this in the movies when it came out, I laughed soooo hard during this scene, haha it's hilarious!

  • i used to think it was Men In Black until i watched it last night, because now i own pulp fiction so i understand the reference

  • @AFinleyProductions i know same here. i was like 9 when i saw this at the drive-in

  • shit just got serious..........

  • Elmer even has Vince's earring. Classic!

  • uhh

  • is it me or does it sound like black eyed peas - pump it ??

  • @crafting987 I hope you're trolling

  • @melanclock uhmmm why?

  • Comment removed

  • @crafting987 the bep sampled that song for pump it

  • @pfunkle ....o...k?

  • @crafting987 seemed like you were curious

  • @pfunkle hehe :3

  • Wow. Pulp Looney Fiction Tunes. The greatest reference ever.

  • Yay nostalgia!

  • I didn't get the reference, I just thought it was awesome that Elmer and Sam had a team-up.

That was the coolest thing ever. XD

  • Man, I wish I got the image of the 2 in higher res... Ceratinly I would made a sticker of it ;D

  • @DranCity so true

  • Ah, the days where guns weren't absolutely forbidden in every children's show ever.

  • i'm a mushroom cloud laying motha F*cka motha F*cka

  • does he look like a bitch

  • I just shot marvin in the face

  • i think the song is pump it by black eyed peas no?

  • @inuloveskagforever1

They sampled "Misirlou" by Dick Dale for "Pump It"

  • Misirlou doesn't have the "ha, ha, haaaa~!" in it though

  • @Jeff0909090 Yessir, it does.

  • @CaptainDarthy no sir, it doesn't... go listen to Miserlou and compare to the video before you

  • @Jeff0909090 There are more than one versions. And I hate to tell you but yes there is a "ha, ha, haaaaaaa" in the pulp fiction version, which Dick Dale recorded specifically for the movie.

  • I love this scene! Everytime I hear misirlou I think of this part of the movie.

  • DUDE I NEVER NOTICED THAT. HELL YEAH PULP FICTION REFERNCE

  • black eyed pea's - pump it ( i think)

  • @x6zakura definitely not. :)

  • @x6zakura Oh my god no lol

  • When I first saw this, I thought it was a Men in Black reference. lol

  • when i saw this part in my classroom today i was the only one laughing......guessing that my class mates never saw pulp fiction

  • jesus christ ... denzel washington in pulp fiction? i dont think so i mean what were you thinkin, "famous black actor :S famous black actor aah it MUST be denzel washington". and men in black in black in space jam?. an as for "the therockstars" thinkin its pump it - BEP, how old are you, 12? ....... your all a huge disgrace.

  • soundtrack?

  • I LOVE this part. Always cracks me up

  • not men in black is pulp fiction !!

  • no... they are supposed to be john travolta and denzel washington from Pulp Fiction

  • Really? i've never seen that movie, but it looked like Men in Black because of the sunglasses and suits! (i've seen the movie Men in Black)

  • i recommend you to see Pulp Fiction... is a great movie... although for some persons it is a weird film...

  • ok! when does it come on? or is it on DVD?

  • it's already on DVD... If there is a pulp fiction scene featured in Space Jam wich is a '96 movie i believe that Pulp Fiction (2-3 years older) can definitely be found on DVD...

  • OK! Thank you!

  • yes, you're right... i messed up the cast :)

  • It's Samuel L. Jackson, not Denzel Washington.

  • lol FAIL

  • i love when sam and elmer do pow pow pow pow then pump it

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • I love this part in the movie. I know that when I have kids of my own, Loony Toons will be the staple cartoon. This stuff they have today is to regimented. Sure, it's educational, but it's also not giving kids a chance to dream about the impossible and the hilarious. I actually may just re-buy this movie on VHS for the nostalgia.

  • style

  • 6 seconds of WIN! XD

  • Class

  • I used to think this was "Men in Black", but then I realized that movie didn't come out until the next year.

  • I thought they were released about the same time

  • lmfao best part of the whole movie!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I think its a double parody. Adults will see a Pulp Fiction reference but kids will probably see a Men In Black reference (guys in black suits and sunglasses shooting at an alien). At least thats how I used to think of it.

  • haha that was the beautiful part about looney toons ... catered to both adults and children.

great clip in a classic movie

  • commercials.

how are kids supposed to get the matrix reference in shrek?

  • It's been parodied about 5 million times!

  • exactly.

How are kids supposed to recognize a r-rated movie reference like the matrix and pulp fiction, when they never saw the movie before

  • Yeah, that's what i was saying. I guess they slip in those kind of gags so adults don't get bored when forced to watch with their kids ha ha. Kind of like the simpsons, has a lot of jokes kids won't get but a lot of simple dumb stuff too.

  • @blindfatkid23 This was back when humor was for everybody lol .

  • @blindfatkid23 It's WB the adults are supposed to get the reference while the kids say "ha ha, he lost his teeth."

  • @blindfatkid23 Its for the adults. And kids who grow up and decide to watch it again when they're older and wiser.

  • @blindfatkid23 I guess its someting for the parents, I love pulp fiction :)

  • @blindfatkid23 They aren't thats why it's cool for adults too

  • @blindfatkid23 exactly it took me like 12 years to figure it out!

  • @blindfatkid23 I didn't get the reference as a kid (now i do), but i thought it was still very funny.

  • @blindfatkid23 this movies for badass kids. i saw reservoir dogs when i was 5. space jams a movie for the cold blooded muthafucka

  • @blindfatkid23 its called adult humor

  • @blindfatkid23 who cares, i thought it was the most badass thing in the movie. it's more for the grownups to laugh at. you may find a lot of references to different things as one grows older.

  • whats the song?

  • Misirlou by Dick Dale and the Deltones, I believe

  • @iPlayAbundleOsticks Pump it black eyed peas

  • no that´s a remix,

    The original is Misirlou.

  • @darkchief118 pump it black eye

  • @darkchief118 its 'pump it' by black eyed peas

  • @radicalpigon This is not. They've just covered the original music.

  • @radicalpigon -.- really?

  • is that the actual music? wow never noticed

  • are those berettas

  • hand guns dumbass

  • hand guns could be a 9mm or a beretta u Dumbass

  • a beretta is a 9mm dumbass

  • haahahah n1

  • I really like this part, so funny!

  • I watched this movie when i was about 7. 5 Years later i watched Pulp Fiction. A year later i watched this for the first time in 6 years and i nearly pissed myself when the music started

  • Its a parody of Pulp Fiction you ninny!

  • the song is MISERLOU by Dick dale and the deltones

  • XD best part

  • or not.. wait

MAYBE the persons who did space jam traveled in time and stole black eyed peas song before they even existed!

  • I was sayin' that maybe Black Eyed Peas have covered this song. However...nevermind...everybody can make mistakes... -_-

  • The song sampled very heavily from Misirlou by Dick Dale, but it wasn't a cover. Misirlou is entirely instrumental.

  • Thank you...at last an intelligent and serious reply

  • "maybe it is a cover"

    STUPID!

    learn something about music please!

  • its not from desperados??

  • From what now?

  • this song is not from "desperados" ?

  • It might be, but originally it was famous from Pulp Fiction

  • Ohes noes, it's Misirlou by Dick Dale

  • It's sampling.

  • classic

  • When I was 12, we watched this in class. Everyone screamed that it was a men in black reference, as the movie had been released not long before. I facepalmed so hard. I was 12 and even I knew that it was a Pulp Fiction reference.

  • LOL I thought it was Men in Black too, but hey, I was like 3 or 4 when Space Jam came out.

  • lol when i saw it was like 8 i just thought they did it because there the only looney toon charcters that pack heat, so they made them look bad ass.

  • Holy shit this all makes sense now that I watched Pulp Fiction. It always seemed like some random but cool scene/attempt to even the odds.

  • muwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hahahaha this is probably my favorite part from Space Jam.

  • i just can't stop laughing!

  • This was one of my favorite parts in Space Jam, I was "Awesome! A Pulp Fiction crossover!"

  • hahahahahaha 5/5 it was so funny i cant stop laughing hahaha!

  • omg that tha best part it so freakin funny

  • Pump it... wtf.

It's Misirlou by Dick Dale, you tards.

  • Do not judge so as not to be judged!Misirlou is an old greek folk-clor song...(Misirlou is a name of a woman).Dick Dale made a re-imagining of the song.

  • ur a dud seriously

  • Lolwut.

  • astai mafia nearga romana

  • YEHH, I searched this thinking nobody would have uploaded it, thanks for uploading, this is so cool lol
