Protect yourself from Dangerous Websites: WOT (Web of Trust) Firefox Add-on

WOT provides inaccurate labelling and gives its visitors an opportunity to spread slanderous and libellous falsehoods without any checks themselves. Anyone can rate your site, what its a competitor, someone that doesn't like your website or just bored hate individuals. WOT can damage your web site even if there's nothing wrong with it and they are not interested in correcting errors and invalid data held. I don't regard WOT as a truth worthy source of filtering and have un-installed it.

PLEASE HELP! When you search and get a results page are there ways to tell the website is dangerous like if the url of a site has something other than .com or .org or something like that?

if you use this with Noscript it makes it a lot easier to search online without risking infection. :)

@BEYONDILIMIT If you set the site to red yourself it will be blocked for you. If a site is reated red by the majority of people who rated this site, it will automatically block it.

i did not block it it just warned you. You have to go to settings to block it. It would have a big BLOCKED on the screen. :)
