...And...although Kleinfelds has a ton of dresses, they're really all in the same aesthetic vein.

I wish they had beautifully updated gowns from the empire (a la Jane Austen) and other periods. They'd have that hint of history, but re-fashioned for the modern woman.

Lastly, they don't have options with sleeves. They're tacked on, and it shows. Instead of looking like an organic part of the design, they look haphazard. I bet a lot of women get stuck because they want a dress with sleeves!

@MissJessyeNorman, I agree completely! I love the idea of an updated dress from the 1800's. There were really gorgeous gowns in that era, And so many brides would look better in a gown with sleeves. Why are designers not addressing this?

Ok, throw daggers, but I don't think trying on a ton of gowns is so awful! It's an important symbol, in a rite of passage that is meant to create a union which will be the foundation that will support a family, and/or a community.

I think we're a little brainwashed because we love the wonderful sales ppl, and we empathize with their need to make a sale quickly. But they often push a bride to make this important, very expensive and NON-REFUNDABLE purchase after trying on just 3 dresses...

The dress that Josephine was sitting in front of was pretty; it was simple, I thought, but had some nice sparkly pieces on it.

I've seen some light pink wedding dresses on this show, and some magenta, purple, and light green bridesmade dresses, and those were really pretty. Way too expensive for me though. One time, a mother of a bride wanted to spend 100,000$ on a dress.

I agree with dolce vita she is crazy, that ruffle is sooo pretty! I also liked the first one on this clip and looked nice on her! She should have gone with the second one, that one looked the MOST flattering for her!!! And she didn't like it. That has to be stressful for her not knowing what to wear. I always get indecisive.
