When this baby was released in '69, along with Superbees, I wouldn't think a car would ever come close to destroying a Stock Mopar with a 440 Six Pack, or a Plymouth Road Runner for that matter, out of the factory. It might very well be an 8 second car. You've got to figure that the '68 Hemi Cuda was the second fastest car ever produced up until '07, and it ran 10.5s with only 550 horsepower.

its just that once you break into the 9's it just gets harder and harder to subtract every tenth off your ET. i would say it most likely hits around a constant 9.3. and probably hit like an 8.9. one or 2 times when track was perfect condition, car was tuned to the max, it did not spin, and he hit a perfect light. thats the only way that i can see this 950hp car hit an 8 other than that it i would say it hits constant low 9's.
