  • Haha she's so funny and honest!!! Love Mirai!!! =)

  • "I'm the first Olympian in my family!" HAHA loove her

  • @breathebliss

that was my fav. part too. lol.

  • Asians want the best delicious foods , accomodations, and stylish clothes - but they shop for discounts and sometimes asks for discounts - I give that to get their business.... not cheap ...hard line business people.

  • HOnest youth...she's a great skater.

  • Do they give medals for cute? Because they should.

  • lol! she's from my hometown Pasadena. she definitely does have that socal bubbliness:)

she may need to work a bit on that mind-to-mouth filter, but it might just be a bit of that charm of a 16 year old.

  • @estherxhia

It`s refreshing. Maybe some day she'll call out Patrick Chan's stat-juking ass, since nobody else has the balls to do it. War Nagasu!

  • Bahahaha....funny! She's got a good fun personality....seriously people need to take the time to learn from this 16 year old and see that life shouldn't be serious all the time.....I forgot which video it was but at the end of the video I remember Mirai saying something about how it would be cool if people threw purses and jewelry...or something to that remark....she's hilarious....cute girl!

  • No one will ever take the place of Michelle Kwan in my heart, ever! Yet, I just adore Mirai Nagasu. Her skating and personality.

  • oh my god, she's such a cutie. im a korean fan of you, Nagasu!!

  • Dear sweet Mirai Tara Lipinski wasn't well known? Ummm she was only the defending world champion and co favorite with Michelle to win the gold in Nagano. Hardly an unknown.

  • what a lovely girl!!! <3 so refreshing and honest!

  • she needs to watch what she said. all those free stuff she mentioned aren't free. her family had to work hard and have money to pay for her skating and she had to earn it, so therefore its not free. nothing is free in skating. she shouldn't be talking about the "free stuff", but what she is looking forward for to compete in the olympics.

  • @fanboys7

Chill there :) Mirai is only 16 and obviously a little valley girl who are still maturing. She probably know nothing except practice practice practice most of her life and didn't get time to have fun like other teenagers, so the freebies are definitely a big plus. I can totally understand where she is coming from.

It is like summer camp for her and it was so exciting and I am so happy she were able to share with her fans. It is not like she is 21 or 22, then I agree with you.

  • @os168 i'm just saying. those freebies aren't really free. because her parents worked so hard to support her in order to get those freebies. her parents paid for those things after all those years of support. just saying. as an olympian and a young lady, she is looked up to kids, and also media is very crazy and could give pressure

  • @os168 im sure she has had time to have fun and she has free time.

  • @os168

    I agree with you.

I think her mean of " free stuff" is like free pens, free stickers, free T-shirt...or etc

You know something like " Yeah, I was there " kinda type things.

    Mirai is a good girl.

  • @os168 no she was 15 at that time, youngest figure skater there. I hope she keeps improving. there have been too many promising American figure skaters that didn't reach their potential for some reason. remember America used to dominate this sport.

  • @dhom100

    Ah thanks!

I look forward to Mirai this season! Hope she bring more of herself (own opinions) to the program as it is one of the great qualities about her skating I appreciate.

  • @fanboys7 plus, the free stuff she was talking about were the ones subsidized by Vancouver2010 and Team USA. relax, clearly it was a joke. see. everybody laughed.

  • @fanboys7 she's trying to have fun with the press you idiot lol

  • @fanboys7 come on... she just a teenager and obviously she is just making the interview fun! Chill~ dont expect too much from her! at least she works hard and has awards which doesnt make her waste money!

  • @fanboys7 And by the way, she just said free stuff as a joke. It's not like she didn't know how hard her parents worked to pay for her coaches and transportation.

  • she's so young. the way she talks is like.. so cute(:

  • She's so refreshing, and yes, we can be very cheap ;)

  • "I'm the first Olympian in my family!" haha, she's so cute! :))

  • @NiebieskaMandarynka haha i was just about to say that!!! she's so cute..

  • I love her because she doesn't hold back on anything she says, she is so honest.

I don't think she ever worries about 'Maybe I shouldn't be saying this...maybe I should be saying this?'

Mirai gets a question and she answers with her honest opinion.

  • Adorable (:

  • LOL !

  • she's so adorable. xD

  • LOL she's so honest

She such a talented skater, of course.

More and more people will love her :)

  • so cuteee "D

  • Wow, she is SO CUTE!!!! ^__^

I became a fan after watching her at 2010 US Nationals. She did awesome at the Olympics, and I'm rooting for her to medal at Worlds

  • heh shes cute

  • Cute shes so funny

  • she should be nominated for tca :)

  • She is smart! I love her honesty and humor.

  • very nice

  • Yes! I am Asian and I like free stuffs! But that doesn't mean we are cheap, that just mean we are smart and good at saving up our money! Lol just saying. Love this interview
