MR. PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE BOARD JOHNNY REKLAI WILL BE MISSED BY HIS ONE AND ONLY CHAMORITA.......
B.T.W. THAT WOULD BE ME....
AND WITH THE BANK ISSUE'S EHHH!!!!!
LET THE THIEVE'S BE DELT WITH THE LORD ALMIGHTY WHEN THE TIME COMES AND TO MY REKLAI FAMILY I LOVE YOU ALL AND MISS YOU GUYS HOPE TO SEE YA'LL SOON.........
It would make sense that Elizabeth Meek would choose the Bank of Hawii as co-trustee since they had just opened a branch in Koror Palau And this would give Elizabeth Meek access to the accounts in Hawaii and in Palau Her attorney Robert Jones (Grigger Jones) created the documents making the Bank of Hawaii the co-trustee AFTER our father died.
I would never think of it But it is so sad how greed drives people like Elizabeth and her daughter Lola who don't hide the fact that they never tried ot help Dad get better a;nd stop drinking they were waiting for him to die in anticpation of what they would reap So many peopl e have contacted me asking about both of them Interesting isn't it the power of the internet
@ironwhoopy Elvin was married to Elizabeth Asanuma Reklai her daughter DeeLola Reklai is the daughter of Senator Reklai Hope this clears it up for you. Lola left US in 1999 to move BACK to palau and work for her biological father Senator Reklai took back the name Reklai and no longer used Lola Meek in 1999. Also her daughter is no longer using the name Ruthie instead her name is Merkii
What is this video about? I mean, are you giving tribute to someone or ridiculing them? Just stick to one thing, because you're
confusing. And please get your facts straight, not from what people told you, what you heard, or other secondary sources. 1/3 of Palau is not unemployed. Where did you get that information? And why wouldn't Palauan soldiers be happy that their people
Of course their happy! Are they supposed to resent the Uighurs, WHEN THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY TERRORISTS! From all your writing, its clear to see that your a very misinformed and ignorant person. Do your research! And you know what, I have to agree with you though on one note, some of our government leaders suck, plain and simple. Your right, there's corruption, and everyone on the island knows it. And you know why? Because news travels fast with only 20,000 people.
But don't go on condemning the sins of another nation, when the whole world knows the sins of yours. The only difference between is that the US government can hide their secrets better. Why? Well, with over 300 million people and superpower of the world, I don't see why not? But there are just some secrets that are too big to hide and end badly for everyone. Financial Crisis that affected the whole world? The point is that corruption is everywhere, its an epidemic that affects everyone.
And yeah, the US is giving money to Palau. You want to know how much? More than 825,000,000 dollars! That's right...That's a lot of zeroes. That's your tax money. But remember this... This was a contract signed by both sides, US and Palau. You upset?
Don't blame us. Blame your leaders. Oh, what's that? Do I smell corruption in the US? Yup, thought so...
How do Palauans feel about their president willing to take 200 million dollars from US and 17 chinese uighar terrorist al Quaeda prisoners Many palauans serve on our armed forces and they can't be too happy about this Just what Palau needs more US money for only 20,000 people who are already 1/3 unemployed few paved roads little sewer and a severe waste problem Not to mention the denghui fever Give me a break
u related to the former wife investigating his death or something ? im confused , is the video about his death, the daughter , Palau, Palauans , US assistance to the country,, etc
Lola Rekklai was handling the financial accountsings for her father John Reklai and knew early on the bank was going under No doubt she knows where the money is from Pacific Savings Bank and if you followed the money trail I would not be surprised it went right into her lap
This is Lola's biological father She left the states to move back to Palau in 2000 to work and live with Senator Reklai She married and had a daughter She still lives in Palau This is contrary to Robert Grigger Jones' affidavit where he states she had turned her life around and was moving back to the states to continue her educaiton
The Palau judiciary confirmed the attorneys for the account holders with the now failed Pacific Savings Bank of which John Reklai was on the Board of Directors and a major stock holder, are now going after his children (including Lola Reklai Meek ) to satisfy debts incurred with the bank's failure including attaching property and wages of the children and other family members
at 3:10 the picture of 3 senators and the president of PCC is shown, da caption is wrong..it says president remengesau and it is not him in the picture but Patrick Tellei, president of Palau Community College.
i for one agree that the $45 million building is way way too much...they should put the money into good use, like raising the minimum wage, or constructing roads in koror(ie: sel medal a post office) helping schools and hospital. i mean seriously, tirka bai sorir el dengchokl ra elsel a 45 million dollars el blai and watch as our people struggle day by day with the economy..wow seriously?!!! im pretty sure a $100,000 dollar office would have been more than enough! WOW KEDE MERAL CHEBUUL!
I heard the Reklai family is having to sell property to pay back the depositors Lola works for the Reklai company John Reklai is her biological father.
Now Senator Santy Asanuma, Elizabeth's brother and Lola's uncle is passing legislation which would make it mandatory for Palau citizens living in the US to pay taxes to the Trust territory of Palau's government.
man,im trully palauan nancimeek you did a grate job on this vid love it.
kid a rechad er belau a leko kede respect er a remeklou el chad that is BS that is y we can't say what we want or do what we want couse they always in our way. I mean we have to open our mind and talk when u want to, so who give a F if i want to. obil my ass they never done any thing all they do is barrow.
I was told recently that the money in Senator Reklai's estate will NOT begoing to his family and his daughter Lola Reklai because he owes money to Pacific Savings Bank Depositors who were swindled out of their hard earned fortunes. And thus the family will get NOTHING
What we meant to say was $45 million equates $2 million from everyone of the elected officials. With a population of 20,000 that only equates to $2250 per person. Still in a country dependent on the US dollars and grants to survive (Medical and education)and a minimum wage of $3/hour, constructing a capitol building for $45 million dollars is a bit much don't you think?
Also are you aware of the political corruption happening in Palau during the last 10 years? All the money US dollars sent to help them and the politicians NOT making improvements to the country instead fattening THEIR wallets? Talk to a palau citizen and they will tell you what is really happening
Chief Reklai was a good man who earned the respect of the Yapese people by visting our state every year during our Yap Day celebrations. He was surrounded every year with friends, and families adorned in traditional nunuw. He will be missed by us all.
He certainly was May he rest in peace and our condolences to his oldest daughter DeeLola Reklai (Meek) She still resides in palau and I believe works for his company
Actually Lola Reklai (Meek) works for the Asanuma corporation which is owned by her mother's family. She apparently will not be getting anything from her late father Senator Reklai's estate since his estate is being liquidated to pay back the account holders with the Pacific Savings Bank who lost money as a result of the Bank's failure.
In 2000 my father spent 4 days in a hospital in Palau called Belau hospital after being severely beaten. No money (he said he had at least $300 with him) or jewelry was stolen (my father wore alot of jewelry which was fitting to his flamboyant personality) the point being the two men who beat him up wanted him either dead or hurt badly. THEY did not take any money. And Elizabeth was with him She was unhurt. I have tried to obtain records from hospital/government they will not cooperate
On 4:23 where it stated that "Micronesia is a United States Trust Territory...", did you mean the Federated States of Micronesia or Micronesia as a whole, or what? Because Palau is no longer a trust territory of the United States of America; it officially gained its independence and became the Republic of Palau in October of 1994.
Please clarify or feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes it is the Federated States of Micronesia which had a compact agreement with the United States. This agreement or Compact is up for renewal if passed the US would continue to support Palau and its citizens if not, they are looking into options such as China and Taiwan for support
hi, the frame starting at 3:13 or so and ending at 3:25 or so has names as follows." Alan Seid - John Reklai -President Remengesau-Senator Diaz" I would like to make a correction that the person labled as "President Remengesau", the only man not wearing a suit, is my uncle Dr. Patrick Tellei, Palau Community College President and he always wears jeans and a tucked in shirt. Uncle Patrick also appears in frame at 1:20 shaking Johnny's hand: not related to preceding caption. about loans and such.
Thank you for the clarification. Only a few were actually involved with the Pacific Savings Bank scandal It is a shame because so many of Palau's citizens, like your uncle, are hard working people who don't steal and yet had their money stolen by the very bank they trusted Stay strong and thanks for the clarification

Excuse me, but $45 million dollars for a population of 20,000 does not work out to $2 million dollars per person. Try doing the arithmetic again.
By the way, what was the point of this video?
