I'm turning 51 tomorrow so I relly can't say when I started listening to this sound. lol But I DO know that when I first heard them I instantly became a fan because of the happy sound they produce. And their versatility is astounding with a complexity that is easy to take in and absorb. It doesn't leave you tired. Musical refreshment for your being. I'm 46 and I listen to them from the beginning.

Even if I have to say that the best, they gave it in the 80's with the early albums. I've had the chance to listen to them here in Italy many years ago nearby Lucca in a theater. It was a stunning night! I still have the autographs of Tom Schuman (keyboards) and the great Dave Samuels ( vibraphone and marimba).

yeah and all the countries in the world are very much RICH we all know that cuba is the ONLY country with a bad economy, i went to cuba and to tell you the truth and i didn't see any different than lets say Dominican Republic, jamaica, and mos def better than Haiti or barbados.... oh wait they don't have to pay for food, free healthcare and housing without the US help.... yeah sounds like a nightmare !!

Nice song, but sadly, Havana is stuck in the 1950s thanks to Castro. His tactics of terror and oppression have done so much harm to the people and the country.

The embargo should lifted the minute freedom is restored to the Cuban people.

The only problem with Cuban economy has been created by the Unites States. Before the sanctions the economy there was better than any European country. The private sector has suffered because of the sanctions. Computers,cell phones and other modern devices have been allowed, but the averaged Cuban can't afford them.

The sanctions have been in place nearly 50 years. before that we bought almost all the sugar Cuba could produce. There was open trade between the 2 countries. Tourists from USA streamed into Cuba, but not now. The USA did not create their economy, it is a Communist economy. They made it, so let them have it.

She divorced his father in '64 then married Lolo Soetoro who moved them to Indonesia where Barry denounced his American citizenship. He has never produced a birth certificate and he sealed all his college records. This is TREASON, a hangable offense in wartime. He isn't an American national.

I used to live in old Havana I know those pictures are so real as so sad. The music is fabulous, congratulations. I started to play the alto sax, and I wanted to play something that remembers me my Old Havana. Ive been trying Havana from Kenny G, but this one here is more touching and Cuban style, is perfect. Where can I get the sheet music?

Thanks so much for this post...I hope to travel to Cuba if and when the embargo is lifted. I have talked to many fellow amateur radio operators there over the years, and have always found it strange that after ALL OF THESE YEARS we still can not travel there--and how does restricting OUR FREE MOVEMENT as US CITIZENS make us "More" Free I always wonder? Just because you visit a place does not mean that you believe in their system, my goodness!!!

You can go to Cuba-your flight will have to connect through Cananda or Mexico, the Cuban customs won't stamp your passport-!!!!! your greenbacks are welcome in a country with a average income of $3700. dollars per year --also last week President Obama allowed US citizens to fly to Cuba and visit relatives.
