  • Anyone know what the song playing on 2.00 is, awesome beat, I haven't heard that one

  • its Tobacco Road, written by John D Loudermilk in 1960, was a hit by the Nashville Teens ( a British Band) in 1964

  • Crowell's version of Tobacco Road is on The Cicadas' album [which is excellent!]. There's also a version by the late Dan Seals that should be sought out, as it too is well worth a listen.

  • Telephone Road in Houston, Texas Red Bluff Sally's, The Igloo, Cook's Hoedown. The Red X Gang ran everything from Dixie to Long Dr. Cops shot Cole Thornton at Talley's Tavern while he played pinball, Oct. 6, 1948. Redneck Row and Johnny Cash drunk at the Adobe House

    That's Telephone Road.
