@MMnumber9 The straight metal piece that extends from the motor to the pvc pipe for the action is bolted together using threaded machine screws and nylon lock nuts. I believe they are size 8-32 or 10-32 and about 3/4" in length.
@Bmora123@Bmora123 You can get a new and inexpensive wiper motor from Monsterguts(dot)com. And they also sell the power supplies to power the unit, or you can just find a spare 5 to 12 volt DC wall wart and power it with that to save even more money. In the end I just ended up bolting on a flat straight piece of aluminum stock that I picked up at Lowes, then bolt the aluminum piece onto the PVC pipe that crank the legs. There are some tutorials out there on how to build these step by step.....
jolie je me demander si pour le moteur tu avait mis sur batterie ou tu a trouver un transfo de 12volt tout simplement si oui peux tu me dire combien il faut d'ampère car le mien ne ve pas marcher
Never thought about it. But it sounds interesting. Last year I had a total of 3 motorized props. This year I have plans to build a total of 11. When I revisit this particular prop I will see if I can modify it to kick each leg independently. Thank you for the idea!
haha, no problem. my uncle's into dec'ing his house out for the holidays, and i thought it'd be pretty awesome if he decided to make one of these, with legs that kicked at different intervals to make it seem realistic. i just wanted to see if you hand any ideas. if you do find a way to make it kick each leg independently, please post another video of how it's designed. thanks again.
Very Nice! Construction looks alot more solid than mine. Just a note, glue may not hold up over time! I used two short sheetmetal screws on each side of the connecteors to hold pieces together. The glue just doesn't hold firm enough under the rough conditions of the kicking.

What do you use to connect the wiper motor to the legs not the metal part but what holds it together like nails or rivets?
