Kobe's the most technically gifted player ever. I can't think of one weakness in his game when he's 100% healthy. Kobe's moves and techniques are just amazing. He can shoot pretty much any shot, anywhere. I believe Jordan's the better overall player due to his freak athleticism, but Kobe is right behind him. But, Kobe's skill level is higher than Jordan's all things considered.
I think you need you watch HOW the game is played. I will agree that MJ is the best player in the NBA's history. I'm a huge laker and Kobe fan, but let me set this straight. Jordan is the GOAT. He willed victory whenever he wanted to. Kobe just happens to be the closest I've seen to him. All of his mannerisms he copied from Jordan, the pumps, crossovers, fadeaways, post play, even his walk screams the same type of arrogance that Jordan's did. I get why people hate Kobe. Why only call him best scorer of all time? He's probably one of the greatest defending guards of all time. Making 8 all-defensive 1st Team and 5 years straight (running). Remember when he blocked Yao Ming's shot? Yao has an entire foot on Kobe and about 100 more pounds and is the greatest Asian player of all time.. He's still an explosive defender today. How is he not considered one of the best shooters in the league??? He makes the toughest perimeter shots in the NBA along with Dirk. I understand why people call him a "scorer" rather than a "shooter" but when you look at his game most of his points come off of perimeter shots. Unlike Ray Allen this guy is incredible at creating his own shot. Don't get me wrong, Ray Allen is one of the greatest shooters of all time but as he has aged his role has evolved into that of a spot up shooter.

Kobe's the most technically gifted player ever. I can't think of one weakness in his game when he's 100% healthy. Kobe's moves and techniques are just amazing. He can shoot pretty much any shot, anywhere. I believe Jordan's the better overall player due to his freak athleticism, but Kobe is right behind him. But, Kobe's skill level is higher than Jordan's all things considered.
