  • Would this be good for fms?

  • maybe it's fascia that surrounds the muscle, and not vice versa??...................

  • @ladyofthlowlands You actually understood correct. Fascia is surrounds muscles and not vice versa .

    Best wishes.

    Boris

  • Thanks for putting this up. I suffer from soreness and a trigger point between my right lower shoulder blade and spine. My muscles tighten up including to my neck at extreme times... More people should learn this technique

  • @InFrameProduction I'm really happy to learn that you like my material and see it as useful. Thanks for comment.

    Best wishes.

  • @Blixten100000 damnit, i mean 9:02.

  • For some technical reasons on my message board but not on general display appeared post/reply by hemopc I believe it's some educational issues to discuss and therefore decided to post it.

  • @mgaft1 Excuse me?!! How is that obvious and on what do you base your conclusion? I have extensive clinical experience in manual physical therapy, with all types of soft tissue mobilization, and a doctorate to back it up. You are the fraud and the one confusing people. You should watch/listen to your own youtube videos. Incomplete sentences, poor english, even for someone whose native language is not english, and an even worse understanding of the underlying scientific principles.

  • hemopc Instead of calling me fraud you could declare your legal name est. for example:Hi my name is Christopher…..Why I believe you have non clinical experience : you wrote :As far as I know, no research has been unable to identify trigger points, active or otherwise, by light or electron microscopy.”

Every clinicians know that trigger points is a pinpoint localization of pain and we have to detect them using our fingers and then to compress.

  • @mgaft1

Boris your videos are fantastic. I would not even take the take to acknowledge some of these you tube idiots who have nothing better to do than critique others, ie hemopc. That 200k he spent for that doctorate was well spent enabling him to critique you tube videos. You called him out Boris asking him to produce his on instructional video and typically like so many other fools he hides in the anonymity of the internet . Keep up the great work Boris and again thanks for sharing.

  • @vinceragano thank you very much for nice and supportive comment.actually I cannot complain because not many times I am getting posts like from one who hides in the anonymity of the internet . Most of the people having respect to works of other and managing professional discussion with some acceptable standards.

    thanks again.

    Best wishes.

  • hemopc Also at my lessons I talked on histological studies that allowed to establish morphology of trigger points and did not talk about “ identify trigger points” . You stated:” fascial restrictions are easily demonstrated by light and electron microscopy right down to the intracellular level” Most of clinicians don't need and don't have an electronic microscope at office. We working with hands when finding tensions within fascia as well with hands releasing this tensions. Will continue.

  • hemopc You stated:” . On the other hand, fascial are easily demonstrated by light and electron microscopy right down to the intracellular level. Just search Pubmed for tissue and intracellular fibrosis.”

You're referring us to studies that not really related to massage therapy applications.

fibrosis is a disease and mainly affecting internal organs . we can positive affect functions of organs but data that you proposing have very little or none relations to massage therapy.

  • hemopc You are right , my English is not perfect and far from it but thank God who want to listen to me and to study from me do understand me. For 17 years I am teaching in America and different topics and practitioners repeatedly coming back to me for different classes including for Master classes.BTW. I'm speaking 5 languages . Will continue.

  • hemopc YouTube videos is a very short fragments from my 20 DVDs . duration of each DVD in average is two hours. incomplete sentences will be for someone who don't understand me and not because of English but because one cannot understand what I'm talking about. And if one would like to learn more she/he just purchasing DVD.You calling me fraud????? Why? On each of my DVD box there is a testimonials of few professors of medicine.

  • In my opinion only dishonest and not straightforward person will open new YouTube account, will hide his real name in order to express his hate. You stated:’ I have extensive clinical experience in manual physical therapy, with all types of soft tissue mobilization, and a doctorate to back it up.” I am calling you a liar. Because if you would have doctorate in physical therapy , you would tell your real name, and will use acceptable professional terminology.

  • @hemopc it is obvious to me that you have no clinical experience in soft tissue mobilization including fascia mobilization. Why wouldn't you stay on front of the camera and demonstrate hands-on including declaring your full legal name your website and how many years you successfully applying techniques based on this theory. In such a case you will not confuse people and maybe will make your points.otherwise it taste less waste of time.

    Regards.

    Boris

  • By the way, you have got your science backwards. As far as I know, no research has been unable to identify trigger points, active or otherwise, by light or electron microscopy. Please cite references for your assertion otherwise. On the other hand, fascial restrictions are easily demonstrated by light and electron microscopy right down to the intracellular level. Just search Pubmed for tissue and intracellular fibrosis.

  • @hemopc :” why you have to compress for 90 seconds in order to get fascia release.? In regards of references est. I believe that on YouTube very difficult to offer it however if you will buy my DVD#12 you will find my scientific review on trigger points therapy including the references, including me demonstrating hands-on and not only trigger point therapy techniques but also full body deep tissue mobilization.

    Regards.

    Boris

  • YOU ARE ABSOLETELY WRONG FASCIA WRAPS AROUND ALL MUSCLE TISSUES TO RELEASE FASCIA AND NOT JUST THE MUSCULATURE YOU MUST SUSTAIN PRESSURE FOR AT LEAST 90SEC

  • @13mattster I agree with you that :"FASCIA WRAPS AROUND ALL MUSCLE TISSUES"and if you will careful listen to my presentation you will find out that I'm talking about it. Can you please explain to me why we have to sustain pressure for at least 90 seconds in order to release fascia?thank you.

    Best wishes.

  • ....Either more force or, as I prefer, more time, is required to cause lasting deformation of the deep fascia.`

This is not to say that lighter or techniques of short duration aren't effective, only that the mechanism is probably neurologically or energetically mediated.

  • Dearwhiterabbit63. My impression is that we understand differently connective tissue massage. to me your description more fitting description of muscular mobilization. I am 100% positive that impression of dissection views shouldn't play major role in decisions for technical mobilizations of deep fascia and other tissue. Living tissue is different. demonstrated by me techniques during many years clinically proving as safe and adequate superficial as well deep fascia release.

    Best.

    Boris

  • Looks like skin and superficial fascial release but certainly not the deep fascia!

  • Dear whiterabbit63 My video is an educational material where I have an opportunity to share my knowledge that based on training as well many years of clinical experience. All theoretical and hands-on concepts are scientifically based and most important for many years clinically proven as effective and safe . including my deep fascia mobilization demonstration. I am ready to learn and will appreciate if you will define deep fascia mobilization. Your hands-on demo welcome.

    best wishes.
