you should position yourself further left. That way there's more chance to jumpslash to the corner. Also, it helps to do on emulator because they have slowdowns and save states :)

Thanks I'll try more left for sure.

I don't have an emulator, and I'm too lazy to get one, so I'll probably just keep trying on a console. If it requires great precision then I'm sure someone with an emulator will be bound to figure it out.
