I really enjoy seeing healthy fish thrive ,like they do in your tank. I also have a 125 gallon tank. Just look me up on the youtube. Keep up the good work.
@exomanic I had a clown trigger just before I took this video and he would always bite off the streamers. No longer have him and now the queens streamers are longer. I will take another video soon and upload it.
@pro194757 I don't really know the brand of them. I got them from someone local but I checked on ebay for 1w reef LED lights and they sell the same ones on ebay.
I know you get a lot of ?'s, but I was hoping you could give me some advice. I want more than 1 large angel but don't have $600 to throw down on getting the ones that I want all at 1 time. Did you add yours all together or separately? Same question with the tangs? Thanks for posting all these videos, I love your tank and plan on configuring my 210 very similar! Thanks
@tanksfish I added my angels and tangs separately. I never added them all at once nor did I have all that money at one time to add all of them at once. I need to take another video and post it soon because I took out a few fish and things are slightly changed but not much. The majestic is the dominant angel in my tank and the blue hippo is the dominant tang so whatever angels or tangs I add, I just make sure they are smaller than those fish.
Beautiful collection of fish. Cant wait to own a beautiful tank like that in the future. Love the Annularis Angelfish, and how many gallons is the tank?
@MrBigregg572 no idea, bought them from someone locally and they got it from some ecogrow website. Not sure of the brand or what kind. Just know that each fixture has 60 whites and 60 blues. I have 3 on the tank.
You know what I'd like to see in there? If you replaced a few of those tang with a powder blue and an Achilles if they got along. And you're right that's too much competition to put a lion in , keep it up, and keep us fans posted!!
@NeoYang0769 I have tried power blue tangs multiple times but they don't seem to live in my tank. The achilles that I have tried never started eating. I am trying to find an achilles locally that is eating. The last achilles I picked up was on impulse and didn't check to see if it was eating before I brought it him home. Not making that mistake again. Going to be uploading another video soon...It will be up tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks! I believe your findings . . . many times the camera capability does not have the technology to show what you are seeing in person. Thanks for sharing your findings and continued good success!
Having MH or bright LEDs on a fish only tank is kind of pointless since you aren't growing corals but when you add lights like that on a fish only tank, it brings out all the colors of the fish that you don't see with t5s or power compacts. I saw a big difference in their colors and I had no idea the fish I have can look like this.
in my case since i have a fowlr setup, i needed good lights to showcase the colors on my fish since i have no corals.
One always hears about how the lighting affect the corral life, but when you have mainly fish as you do with great success; have you noticed any difference in the response of your fish to the new lighting? One gets the impression that with fish, lighting isn't so important . . . what would be your observations and conclusion?
@russmaleartist the fish hid for a day under the rocks getting used to the bright lights and once they started coming out and swimming in the open, their colors looked amazing. To me, it was well worth the money to put leds on this fowlr setup.
@russmaleartist I am going to upload another video with different settings on my camera. The tank looks MUCH better in person than on camera. Its not bringing out the colors and contrast, need to fix the settings on my camera.

@tanksfish It also depends on what angels and tangs you want to add to figure out order of introduction.

Hey thanks for the quick response, do vacum your sand, and how much water do you change?
Cms30349 2 months ago
@Cms30349 i don't vacuum my sand. I change about 40 gallons of water every 2 weeks.
viper1001001 2 months ago
@viper1001001 you should get a adult or juv Achilles Tang for your tank, or a nice golden puffer.
InFestedPkerzClan 2 months ago
@InFestedPkerzClan can't keep a puffer in my tank but might get a small achilles if i can find one locally that is eating regularly.
