I am running an iPod touch on FW 3.1.3. I followed all of the instructions on the video, yet when I open Megaman X4.bin, the PSX4iPhone just crashes. What am I doing wrong?

if you are on that firmware then its probably just not compatible. the video was done on an earlier version.

@MissionStart its not a bad file. it is just a different way that someone backed up their game. as my other comment states, you can use .iso, .bin, .img, and .z file types for psx games for psx4iphone 1.1.0, and it works with 3.0-3.1.2. if those games are not working for you, try deleting psx4iphone, and reinstalling it, as you might have 1.0, which only works on 3.0.

Dead WRONG. The creator updated the application in cydia to work for the 3.1.X series firmware. The version is 1.1.0 of psx4iphone.

Probably 'cause you suck. Or you didn't download the 1.1.0 version of psx4iphone, or you named the bios incorrectly (scph1001.bin, all lower case). Or you downloaded a shitty bios, or the rom you downloaded is also shitty. That's why. I got this emulator up and running today and it plays Digimon World juuuust fine.

the file i downloaded didn't hane a " .bin" or ".cue" file. It was an ISO image: ".img" with a ".sub" and a".ccd" file. Tried using those. The emulator saw the image file but tha app crashes seconds after starting. What's your solution for this?

you need to fine the bin and cue. otherwise, to the best of my knowledge, it wont work. lemme know if i am wrong.
